Some intimate moments with Summer
Spoke affirmations to lilies in soil, still buried under.
Asked the spider why humanity shunned her,
I said, “it’s better this way, we’re known to bring plunder.”
Saw the world with the eyes of prey and with those of a hunter.
Learned the magic of trees who cast shadows of wonder.
I really, really love Summer.

Pt.1: Fairies dwell within the trees, don’t poke around with things you shouldn’t see- but if to witness one is what you really desire, visit the woods of the great eaters of fire, to be burned those giant trunks desire, so their cones can explode, clear the room for new life to grow. Show your gratitude for the Earth, and a fairy might show you what its worth.

This is one of at least two posts I’ll be sharing from this land of gods. To be inside one of these titanic trees is a life changing experience. I truly felt as if I could make do with the space and spend the rest of my days inside that tree trunk. House warming party? 😌
How amazing of these trees to be able to thrive even though their insides have been hollowed out and burned away by fire. If any god is real these trees are the first I’d believe in. These giants are living deities standing right in front of us, they deserve worship. taken in Sequoia by @thepythiia

🌎 Go outside and hug a tree today 🌿🌲🪻✨

Life is rarer than anything else in the universe, and our planet offers a great abundance of it. It can be hard to remain hopeful among all of the bad news recently, but remember that we all hold a small amount of power, and when lots of people with a little power come together, that power becomes much greater.

We can get so lost in materialistic perspectives on what is important, and we are taught to think of ourselves as separate from nature, that humans are not among the animal kingdom, but we are a part it and we play the most impactful role within it.

We are meant to care for the mountains, the beaches, the deserts, and all of our fellow earthlings that reside within them.

We are made from Earth, will spend our entire lives upon her, and coalesce with her; cycle back into her.

23 🌞’s old and here is what 22 taught me:
This year carved me down to weakness with body aches and flames.
And I do feel stronger, tree roots deepened, because I have learned how long days feel when you carry a constant pain that hums beneath the surface.
But in the face of that, I carry on despite it- and I know the fog blocking the view is not permanent. My bones are unchanged and my skies remember, though distantly, how it felt to be opened.
22 made me deeply grateful for the things I have, rather than afraid of what would happen if I lost them. by @thepythiia
