beautiful village of Golra, Attock, I had the opportunity to see a traditional water mill up close.

This mill still operates through the flow of water. There is no need for electricity or a modern motor. The flow of water itself drives the entire system.

Wheat is ground into flour in this stone mill. Flour ground using the traditional method does not generate much heat, so its aroma and taste remain better preserved.

Today, we are accustomed to modern machines powered by electricity, but this traditional water mill in Golra is still doing its work using the power of water.

100+ Grape Varieties in Attock

I recently visited a unique grape farm in Kamal Pur Alam, Hazro, Attock, where more than 100 international grape varieties are being grown across 60–70 kanals of land.

Each variety has its own shape, taste, and characteristics. One of the most surprising was the Peach Flavour grape, which genuinely tasted like peach.

This farm shows how exploring new fruit varieties and modern farming methods could create new opportunities for farmers in Attock and the Chhachh region.
