We had a great time as always at The Psychobilly Meeting in Spain!

Our thanks to Raquel and all of the Just For Fun staff. Our hotel was fantastic and had great food.
A special thanks to Steve Whitehouse for sorting us out with the backline.
Thanks to all the other bands, we enjoyed watching you and hanging out backstage.
The biggest thanks goes out to the fans. We hope you enjoyed our set. It was a little different by design this time.

The Quakes é um dos maiores nomes da história do psychobilly mundial. Formada em 1986, em Buffalo, Nova York (EUA), a banda ajudou a consolidar o gênero nos Estados Unidos e, ao longo de quase quatro décadas, se tornou uma das maiores referências do Neo-Rockabilly e do Psychobilly.

Em 2026, a banda celebra 40 anos de carreira e retorna ao Brasil pela primeira vez desde 2010, desembarcando no Lucky Friends Rodeo IX para um show histórico e sua aguardada volta à América Latina.

We are ready for the Psychobilly Meeting! We have had some warm up shows and plenty of practices (so there are no excuses…. :-) We changed up the set list a bit. It’s hard because you can’t play them all. After 40 years we have accumulated a few good songs :-) It is easy to look at Spotify and Apple stats to see which songs are the most popular but we are not a jukebox…it’s a live show so other things need to be taken into consideration.We will play most of the “hits” and a few you would not expect.
We will have a very limited amount of these baseball shirts (S-M-L-XL-2XL) and two different patches. Thats all we can bring in addition the gear and multiple outfit changes we are bringing (joke).
They will be available for sale on Friday night. You will have to find which merch booth is selling them.
If you see us hanging around the festival, come up and say hi! See you soon.

NEW SINGLE
This is our new single. It is a re recording of The Killing Moon by Echo &The Bunnymen.We recorded this song for the Last Of The Human Beings album in 2001. I was never that happy with that recording. I had a session drummer on that one and it just wasn’t what I was after. The song has been and continues to be popular in our live set. This recording reflects the live version. We recorded this in 2020 but there were some changes needed and it got put on the back burner. A few months ago, we made the changes that we wanted and now here it is.It should be on all platforms. It is not on instagram at the time of this post.
