I was working my dream job at the time as a starting line barista for Blue Bottle's third new Los Angeles cafe in Beverly Grove. Check out that awesome Kees Van der Westen Spirit machine next to the built in pour over station. I think it may have been the first model made to have 3 group heads on it.

I loved working at that cafe and will always hold a special place of pride in my heart. I loved learning and integrating the Japanese-inspired crafts of coffee extraction excellence and respect with hospitality.

This was a pleasant surprise to receive a handmade spontaneously painted watercolor from a spirited guest on a quiet evening in that new year. ☕ Japan🇯🇵 by @thequaliteacha

Sunrise.
🔸
Each day at sunrise, I cherish the opportunity to reflect on myself, my mind and spirit.

This is my favorite time of the day, as meditation greatly shapes my perception of this world and my willingness to respond rather than react.

Practicing mindful awareness first thing in the morning helps provide me with keys to maintaining balance in my perception throughout the day.

This morning, meditating with the sweet sounds of Lake Atitlan washing the shore provides a serene atmosphere amidst my reflection and intention-setting.
🔻
🔻
I am one with all of life, and all of life is one with me.

I consciously align my life with the Divine Plan and allow my body and consciousness to be used as vessel for the limitless Light Source to flow through me as an expression of the unfolding of the Divine Plan on Earth.

I surrender and trust the unfolding Guidance and that It will follow me where It leads without question or hesitation.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

I humbly ask the creative Power of the living eternal Light of the Creator to set in motion the divine precision of synchronicity to flow through my day for the greater good of all and my unique path in the unfolding of the Divine Plan.

I am cosmic, divine, infinite, unconditional Love.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
