This guy got cleared today by his amazing ortho and PT to start a throwing program🫶🏼I have no words to explain the kind of care he received over the last 3 months from @coastalorthopedics and his amazing PT, Aleko @professionalphysicaltherapy. Today isn’t a date anyone else in my life recognizes, and I understand why. But I never forget.

Today would have been my 13th wedding anniversary.

If I’m honest, it’s harder than I let on. There was a time when I carried hurt and anger for my child with his father’s choice to not be in his life. Today, I carry gratitude.

Life didn’t unfold the way I imagined, but it gave me the greatest gift I could have ever received. My son is pure magic, my best friend, my voice of reason, and the most amazing, loyal and dedicated young man I know.

So while today reminds me of a chapter that ended, it reminds me even more of the beautiful life that came from it. I choose gratitude. I choose peace. And if that journey was the one that led me to him, I wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️ by @theracheldavis

Happy Birthday to my aunt and my all-time favorite slumber party partner. 🥳❤️
You love hard, laugh hard, and somehow support the people you love even harder. Thank you for always picking up the phone, showing up at a moment’s notice, and loving me through my best days and my hardest ones, without ever judging me.
Thank you for always treating Christian and me the way you do. That kind of love is rare, and I’ll never take it for granted.
And because it’s your birthday, I have to tell my favorite Martha story, well, OUR favorite Martha story. About 2 weeks after Martha hosted my baby shower, I went into labor. Twenty hours later, convinced Christian had to be here by now, Martha marched past the nurses’ station with a giant bouquet of balloons and walked straight into my delivery room( not sure how she got past the doctors and nurses, but if you know her, you know)…where I was 10 centimeters dilated. 😳
My screaming response, when she barged in and said where is the baby? “GET THE HELL OUT!” 😂 It was in that moment I realized we had the kind of bond that only we could have. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Happy 13th birthday to our sweet Jaxy boy. Christian and I are so blessed to have been a part of your life from the beginning and watch you grow into the kindest most empathetic kid we know. Your mom has instilled so many amazing things in you but most of all a great sense of humor and how to be a wonderfully loyal friend.
