One week.

Three years ago I started building something I didn’t have words for yet.

In the middle of raising four children under six, I found myself asking how something so beautiful could also feel so lonely, so heavy, so life-altering. Somewhere between diapers, rehearsals, late nights, and early mornings, this show was born.

It Takes a Village is the most honest thing I’ve ever created.

It’s about motherhood, but it’s also about being human. About carrying more than you think you can. About losing pieces of yourself and discovering new ones. About the people who quietly keep you standing when you don’t have the strength to do it alone.

I’m only here because of my husband, my family, my dancers, and the village that carried me while I was creating this.

If you’ve ever loved someone through a hard season, if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, unseen, hopeful, broken, grateful—or all of those at once—this story is for you.

Independent art only exists because people choose to show up. Every ticket supports artists who have poured their hearts into telling this story, and I would be so honored to share it with you.

Coming out of hiding a little bit 🥹

I’m not going to allow myself to believe that motherhood killed off the artist in me.

4 babies in 5 years, almost 9 months postpartum, and somehow this body still lets me dance. That feels outrageous to me.

I’m rusty. I’m finding my way back. Mostly just trying to become familiar with myself again.

But I’m here. And I’m really proud of that.

I am itching to experience full body movement again.

Children are such a gift, but every time I’m in the pregnancy season I crave movement.
