I was honored to speak at the 2024 President’s Gala at FAU. It was an elegant evening celebrating scholarships and student success. I shared how I grew up with limited resources. College was not an option for me. After serving in the military along with qualifying for scholarships I was able to obtain both an Undergraduate and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering debt free. If anyone ever thought it was impossible I assure you, if there’s a will there’s a way.

It was fascinating checking out an 6000+ yr old Mayan ceremonial center named The Altun Ha in Belize. 🌄

Welcome to The Windy City 🏙️ by @theransjerome

They said hard work pays off. Coming from my background, you could say I’m living proof. I put my foot on the pedal getting out the Marine Corps back in spring 2017. Enrolled in college and took no semesters off since. Now I’ve officially achieved a Masters in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Business. Thank god and everyone in my support system that helped me stay locked-in. I still have much more to learn but this chapter is closed.

Last night The Rotary Club of Boca Raton celebrated the 25th Annual OPAL Gala. Proud to say 1 of the 6 honorees was my mentor through college and even still to this day Pia Giannone. She’s the definition of service above self.
Being surrounded by soo many community leaders inspires me to work hard & pay it forward back to the community that helped me get to where I’m at today.
