Hi, I’m Tinuke 🩷 a therapist for mums on the motherhood journey, from trying to conceive, to pregnancy, postpartum, and even the messy middle of motherhood.Having experienced 3 miscarriages, pregnancy anxiety, and postpartum depression myself, I know that healing is never about quick fixes. It’s about being seen, held, and supported with intention. These experiences taught me that every journey is deeply personal. What helps is not rushing the process, but creating a safe, gentle space where your body and mind can slowly feel safe again. That’s how real healing begins, slow, honest, sustainable healing that meets you exactly where you are.If this resonates with you, this page is for you. And if you need more specific support, send me a DM or click the link in bio. You don’t have to do this alone 🩷.#therapistformums#healingformums#mumconfessions#maternalmentalhealth by @therapistformums

Thank you for being part of this community 🩷Mum Confessions is here to bridge the gap between lived experience and professional support, so mums don’t have to struggle in silence while trying to hold everything together.Whether you’re navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, or the everyday realities of motherhood, I want you to know that support is available and you don’t have to do this alone. One thing I’ve learned on my own healing journey and through supporting other mums is that a regulated nervous system is often more than half the work done. When your body feels safe, healing and growth become so much easier. If you’d like a copy of our free Nervous System Regulation Guide, comment REGULATE below and I’ll send it straight to your inbox! Thank you for being here. Thank you for sharing your stories. Thank you for helping other mums feel less alone.Let’s heal and grow together 🄰.#mumconfessions#therapistformums by @therapistformums

One thing that helps me stay consistent in protecting my worth (and peace) is this:I practice distance as my response to consistent disrespect. Because every time we continue to stay in spaces where we are repeatedly disrespected, dismissed, manipulated, or emotionally drained, we unconsciously teach ourselves that this is what we deserve. And I’ve realized that part of rebuilding self-worth is teaching your brain what is acceptable for you and what simply isn’t..If you’ve already registered for tomorrow’s session, you’ll receive a reflective worksheet this evening to help you retrace the point where you may have started losing your self-esteem and reconnect with parts of yourself before the session. And if you haven’t registered yet, you can still join us 🩷.#mumconfessions #rebuildyourselfworth#grouptherapyforwomen by @therapistformums

Over the years, we’ve received countless stories from women on this page- stories of emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing, unhealthy relationships, struggling to say no, losing confidence, feeling unheard, carrying childhood wounds into adulthood, and constantly pouring into others while neglecting themselves..So when @drviviann.okoye suggested a session focused on rebuilding our self-worth as women, I immediately knew this was a conversation we needed to have.Because so many of the struggles women face often boil down to how we see ourselves, what we believe we deserve, and the patterns we continue to tolerate. If you find yourself struggling with:• Setting boundaries • Self-doubt • Low confidence • Emotional overwhelm • Unhealthy relationship patterns • People-pleasing • Difficulty speaking up for yourself …then this session is for you. This will be a free group therapy-style support session facilitated by professional therapists, helping women begin addressing the root causes behind these struggles while equipping them with practical healing and emotional regulation tools..To make the experience more personal and impactful, we’re keeping it intentionally small:- Only 50 women - 5 therapist-led breakout groups - Safe, guided conversations - Practical worksheets and support tools If this sounds like something you need, please don’t wait too long to register.Click the link in bio to secure your spot. And share with any woman you know who may need it too 🩷.#mumconfessions #grouptherapyforwomen#rebuildyourselfworth#naijawivesandmothers by @therapistformums

Did you know?1 in 5 mums experience a maternal mental health challenge. Many struggle in silence because they don’t recognize the signs or don’t know where to get support. And one of the biggest factors that can shape this experience… is support after birth. So we want to ask you… What was your postpartum support experience like?Did you feel supported?Did you have omugwo? What was that experience like for you?Comforting? Overwhelming? A mix of both?Your story matters, and it could help another mum feel seen and less alone. Please share your story. Send a DM or email stories@mumconfessions.com You’re not alone mama 🩷.#mumconfessions#maternalmentalhealthawareness by @therapistformums

Self-reinvention in motherhood often starts with a small pause.Noticing whether you’re reacting from survival or responding from growth can slowly shift how you show up for yourself and your family. It doesn’t happen overnight, but these intentional moments add up.Something to remember :) Have an amazing day today! 🩷.#therapistformums by @therapistformums

Real change (healing and growth) happens at the identity level, not just in what you do, but in who you believe you are becoming. As you repeat these words, let them shape how you show up this week.Healing isn’t just about coping… it’s about growing into a calmer, more supported version of you.Have an amazing week ahead! .#healtogrow#therapistformums by @therapistformums

When your mind feels full, it’s usually not because you’re doing too much, it’s because you’re holding too much at once.Try a simple mental unload: write it all down. The tasks, the worries, the responsibilities, the ā€œdon’t forgets.ā€Getting it out of your head and onto paper can create instant relief and help you see things more clearly. And even come up with a plan! Try this today and have an amazing Thursday x.#therapistformums by @therapistformums

From my personal journey and from working with so many mums, I’ve learned that the right support, the right knowledge, a safe space to process emotions, and practical tools to regulate your nervous system through each stage can make all the difference! That’s why I do this work. To remind mums that they are not alone, to help you make sense of your experiences and to guide you toward healing so you can grow 🩷.Was your motherhood journey what you expected it to be? ā˜ŗļøHave a beautiful Wednesday! .#therapistformums#myhonestmotherhood#birthstory#mumexperiences by @therapistformums
