Okay, I think it’s finally time for a proper introduction 🤍

There are so many new faces here lately, which has honestly been so fun to watch, so I wanted to share a little bit of Honey’s story.

I got Honey when she was 4½, and if you told me then what she would become to me and what we’d end up doing together, I don’t think I would’ve believed you.

She’s my girl, my sidekick, my travel buddy, a certified therapy dog, professional comfort giver 😂 and, of course, Lamby’s very devoted mother.

What started as me not even being sure I could commit to keeping her somehow turned into all of this. And now getting to watch her bring so much love and comfort to other people has been one of the sweetest parts of having her.

So for everyone who’s new here… hi 🤍 We’re so happy you found us.

Honey has made me realize just how much capacity we have to love. 🤍🐾

Lately my schedule has changed, and I’ve been out of the house much more than I used to be. And strangely, leaving Honey more often has made me realize just how strong our bond really is. I genuinely miss her. And then I come home and see how happy she is to see me, and how happy I am to see her, and it feels so pure. We love eachother and it is the sweetest thing.

It’s also made me think about something bigger.
Even after loss, even after pain, even after the things in life that can make us protect our hearts a little more, we still have this incredible capacity to love and to receive love. Our hearts can keep opening.

Honey has shown me that in such a real way. She loves completely and she receives love completely. She’s present for it. She doesn’t worry about what came before or what could happen later. She just loves what’s in front of her.

I’m learning from her that we can know what loss feels like and still let ourselves love deeply. That one doesn’t cancel out the other. Our hearts don’t have a limited amount of love in them.

There is always room for more. More love to give. More love to receive. More connection. More moments of coming home to someone you love and being ridiculously happy that they’re there. 🤍Honey has made my heart bigger in ways I didn’t expect.

Everyone needs an Osha 🖤🤍🐾

Meet Osha, Honey’s best friend. And when these two see each other… it is PURE JOY. 🥹

They run, wrestle, chase each other around, and somehow never seem to get enough of one another. And when it’s time to say goodbye? They’re genuinely sad to leave each other. 😭

Osha has an incredible story of her own. She survived the Palisades Fire in California, was rescued, and found her way to her amazing owner, Feko. 🤍

There’s something so special about watching these two together. Honey is being Honey, completely obsessed with her bestie. 😂🐾

As we welcome a new year, I’ve been thinking a lot about this girl and the almost two years we’ve had together.

I don’t think I could have known when Honey came into my life just how much she would change it. She has been my companion, my comfort, my sidekick, and quite literally the sweetest presence in my life. But one of the most beautiful things has been watching that sweetness extend far beyond me.

Honey has this way of connecting with people. She brings smiles where they’re needed, calm when someone is having a hard day, and endless amounts of love. Whether it’s a child stopping to hug her, someone who needs a little comfort, or a person whose entire face lights up when she walks into the room, watching her give that kind of joy to other people has been such a gift.

And maybe it’s fitting that her name is Honey. 🍯

During Rosh Hashana, we dipped the apple in honey and ask Hashem for a sweet new year. And this year, when I think about sweetness, I think about what Honey has taught me, that sometimes sweetness is in the simplest things: being present, giving love freely, bringing comfort, making someone smile, and just being there.

So from Honey & me, we’re wishing all of you a Shanah Tovah U’Metukah, a year filled with sweetness, health, peace, love, connection, beautiful new beginnings, and so much revealed good. May this year bring each of us the things our hearts are hoping and davening for. 🤍

Thank you for loving Honey, cheering her on, and following along with us. We’re so excited to see where this next year takes us and how much more love this special girl gets to spread.
