happy Sunday everyone ✨ what are you reading this weekend? by @thereadingwells

Just a bookish photo dump as of late 💫 in no particular order. I do not recommend deciding to re-organize your bookshelves at 8pm 😆😆

What’s everyone reading? by @thereadingwells

This wasn’t a book or reading specific vacation, but good Indie bookstores will always be found, and books will be purchased 🤠😅 this time we bought a matching copy of Lonesome Dove, which feels fitting for a vacation to the Wild West.

I’m curious, how many books do you actually read on vacation? by @thereadingwells

More often than not, you can catch me on the porch with multiple beverages, a good book, and @mrclarencethepup 🫶

beverages: latte + my favorite ginger pineapple green smoothie
book: The Creative Act — a rare non-fiction pick I’m enjoying reading bit by bit
:)

What have you all been sipping on and reading, lately?

Summer TBR ft. @mrclarencethepup 🌞

This year so far I’ve been reading SLOW, so even this stack feels a bit ambitious. There are several book club reads here, one that’s purely for fun, an ARC from a friend, and a wild card that a lady at my gym brought me to borrow 😅

Are we reading any of the same things this summer? Have you read them already?! by @thereadingwells

book haul 🤩 3 reads that have been on my radar years, happened upon at the used bookstore. Have you read any of these?

1. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
2. The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargravr
3. The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow

at least it’s not drugs 📚 (I tell myself as I continue buying far too many books) by @thereadingwells

I don’t mean to brag but a thunderstorm just started and my Friday night plans are reading on the porch 🙂‍↕️📚 what are you reading this weekend, book friends? by @thereadingwells

Recent bookish photo dump & a moment of appreciation for our November read: Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo. Thoughts on it in no particular order:

- It was perfectly dark, gritty, and academic for the late fall
- Alex Stern is a bad bitch (although sometimes it feels like the whole series is just her getting beat up lol)
- I appreciate that Bardugo doesn’t offer happily ever after endings, but also doesn’t do infuriating cliff hangers here by @thereadingwells

Me when I say I have plans 😗 by @thereadingwells

and just like that, The Reading Wells book club has read 11 books, going on 12 for the year 2025 📚✨.

We may not always be active on the internet, but we stay active in our app and quarterly virtual meetings 🤝 (cannot wait to discuss Bride and Ninth House soon).

As we look forward into 2026 — do you all have any reading goals or intentions?

It could be to read slower, read more, start annotating, or even a book goal or genre you want to get into. One of mine is reading adjacent: to start writing my first book in earnest instead of just talking about it 🤭. by @thereadingwells

The most accurate photo by far is the one with a single cheese stick and dog hair covered blanket 😂😂😂. Have we read any of the same books lately or have we been snacking on the same things?!

A few of these are @thereadingwells book club reads (Lost in Time, Bride) and others are either from my TBR shelves, borrowed from friends, or pre-ordered to support favorite authors. by @thereadingwells
