Popocatépetl, a brave warrior, loved Princess Iztaccíhuatl. Before leaving for war, he promised to return for her. When she was falsely told he had died, she died of heartbreak. Upon returning, Popocatépetl carried her to the mountains and stayed by her side forever. The gods transformed them into mountains ⛰️ Iztaccíhuatl, the sleeping woman, and Popocatépetl, the volcano forever watching over her.

Where it all started …. Thankful for @_reborn.la and the sentimental value this hat carries. More than just something I wear, it holds a piece of my story.

Through every hardship, every moment of self-doubt, and every season where I questioned myself, my “Gracias a Dios” hat has reminded me to keep my faith strong and keep moving forward.

It represents where I’ve been, what I’ve overcome, and the person I continue to become. Confidence isn’t believing you’ll never struggle, it’s knowing you’re capable of getting through whatever comes your way.
