Life be lifing yal!

-lost my dad but he lives in me
-turned 35
-started my new job with Juul Labs. Loving it
-Intentional about quiet time with God every day
-have lost over 30 pounds. Boxing, lots of water, and no stress ☺️

I want to give a special thank you to my sister. She knew I was at my lowest point and came immediately when I told her our dad died. She kept me laughing, upbeat, positive, and helped take care of our mom while I was still going through my new job. Vonda, thank you.

Lots of change going on for me in a good way. Thank you all for your prayers and please keep them coming. Got a lot of navigating to do, but it’s clear that it’s my time now. Time to step up, lead, be who God has commanded me to be, and BE HIM!

I’m just enjoying life free. 35 was definitely the year of freedom. 36 is all about joy. I’m so blessed to live this life. Selling, promoting, traveling, and making relationships with people. Thank yal for the birthday wishes. Let’s keep it pushing!!!

Another night, another concert!

@chancetherapper put on a classic show last night at @southsideballroom. 10 year Anniversary of Coloring Book Album. @jhonniedamnd bended us up and @kirkfranklin took us to church.
It’s fun to sing three part harmony to complete strangers.

Yal I got some Digital Roses with my mom this weekend. Took her to her 50th Class Reunion from @forrestcityhighschool.barstool, Class of 1976. Forrest City, Arkansas.

I haven’t heard my mom talk that much since my dad died. It will be a year this month.

I learned so many things about my mom, how she grew up in a newly integrated school after segregation, and all of her favorite friends. She never got to previously attend reunions before because she was taking care of my sister and I, or was fighting illnesses and struggle.

God shined on us this weekend. Thank you God for my mom in my life.

The Pot Baked Potato Bar
1516 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Dallas, TX 75215

I ordered the Sea Pot Spud today from @thepotbakedpotatobar. Filled with salmon, jumbo shrimp, cajun seasoning, cajun crawfish cream sauce , and a bed of cheddar cheese. Their trick was efficient, staff was very professional, and the food was FRESH! Absolutely outstanding to see a black owned business in Dallas doing things with excellence! Will definitely be back!
