POSTS STORIES REELS

“Glow of Love” has always been one of my favorite songs.

Luther Vandross captured something special with his voice, his phrasing and those incredible vocal arrangements. I wanted to respect that feeling while creating a version that could live comfortably on today’s dance floors.

For this release, I teamed up with South African vocalist Earl W Green, whose soulful delivery brought exactly the emotion I was looking for.

My goal was simple: make something DJs can actually mix and play, while still making a record that regular listeners can enjoy at home, in the car, at a party or wherever the music finds them.

My own musical roots run deep through soul, jazz, gospel, funk, hip-hop and dance music. Before house music became such a major part of my journey, I came up as a battle DJ and spent years as a tastemaker for underground hip-hop. All of those influences continue to shape the way I approach music today.

I may not say it all the time, you're one of a kind, thank you for loving me! Seasons have come, Seasons have gone, but you're here still here with me. The battle is won, I've overcome, my once cloudly skies are clear. Words can't express my gratitude towards your giving.
