1. Shaft-tailed Whydah

I really enjoy the contrast of a bird against a light background. It really does help you focus on how special the bird is.

Some pics from my trip to Zaagkuilsdrift last year.

Just some snippets from Aidan and Lena’s magical wedding! 🤩 What an awesome occasion and what a celebration! Still can’t believe it’s over! It’s was perfect in every way! Perfectly Aidan and Lena! Speeches were brilliant, musics, food, vibe just next level fantastic! Small and intimate affair… it was just incredible! taken in Lambert'S Bay, Western Cape, South Africa by @thereal_leechild

This weekend, I had the special privilege of officiating the wedding ceremony of my boy Aidan @aidan.moves and the love of his life Lena @lenabobena17.

It was a perfect weekend, filled with laughter, banter and so much love.

What stood out for me was how a “village” of people, largely friends and family, came together to make this a memorable event. The food, the music, the decor was provided by a special group of people that were actively involved in the wedding celebration.

It was truly an amazing and memorable event and it just shows what we can achieve, when we pull together for the ones we love.

To everyone involved (you know who you are😉). Thank you.

It’s been a crazy 2025 and 2026 promises more of the same!!

It’s easy to get distracted by chaos and uncertainty.

In 2026, we are going to keep our eye on the prize and focus on creating solutions to protect our precious resources.

Looking forward to working with @projectrhinokzn to find ways to better preserve our very threatened rhino populations.

Getting to fly with the amazing pilots of @zap_wing is nothing short of exhilarating.

Looking forward to working with these legends to improve the effectiveness of their daily anti-poaching patrols.
