Wowwwwwwww yesterday I was so busy and locked in with what I was doing and elevating myself that I didn’t even realize that it was the 5th anniversary of the passing of my mom! But you know something that might be because I’m finally at peace with it. The lord and my mother didn’t want me to lose focus on the bigger picture of that weekend which is me doing a restart on myself and my business! On the way to the event which was in Virginia Beach, the lord was giving me so many signs that everything is going to be ok and that I will be at the top and I just kept praising him and thanking him. I had to mentally keep them in my head and I didn’t have a heavy heart or nothing which lets me know that my mother is ok and she is watching over me!! I love you mom and miss you so much and thank you!!✨✨ Sugar Williams by @thereal_mocha.drop

Guess who completed her first full week as an undergrad at VSU?!! Yuppppp I’m back at it again enrolled in somebody school for something else to add to my list of accomplishments!! I’ve always wanted to go to an HBCU , but being young, distracted with boys and becoming a mother at 19; God had other plans for me at that moment in my life. He definitely didn’t disappoint, I was able to obtain my associates degree, become a salon owner and achieve other accolades. But, something in me kept saying go get that bachelors and the time was now for some reason and whatever reason it is I’m listening to God and my heart and will follow my dreams! I will be that example for my kids and nieces and nephews! It’s never too late! #HBCUPride #VSU bachelors loading… by @thereal_mocha.drop
