I keep coming back to this conversation because I don't think “AI is good” vs. “AI is evil” gets us very far.
I've been using AI for about four years, and my experience has been deeply positive — creatively, intellectually and practically. At the same time, I don't think we should ignore the very real questions around energy, the environment, copyright, labour, misinformation or the concentration of technological power.

But I also think something gets lost when we talk about AI as if it were an independent force acting upon humanity.
We created this technology. We are the ones deciding how it is developed, deployed and used.
So for me, the interesting question isn't whether we should blindly embrace AI or reject it.

It's what kind of future can we consciously create with it?
And perhaps even more importantly:
If technology can eventually take some of the necessary work off our shoulders, what could we give back to human beings in return?
More time.
More freedom.
More creativity.
More space to think, connect, rest and simply live.

I’ve been using AI for about four years now, and I still find it strange how often we talk about it as if it were some external entity — something separate from us, something that is happening to humanity.
But we created this technology. We direct it. We decide what we ask it to do, how we develop it, and how we integrate it into our lives. Of course there are real ethical, environmental and social questions around it, and those deserve serious discussion. But turning AI into a monster doesn’t help us have that conversation.

What interests me is its potential. What if technology that can automate and simplify enormous amounts of work could actually give us more freedom, more time, more creativity, more space to live? What if we stopped asking only “What will AI take from us?” and started asking “What could it give back to us?”

I don’t think the answer is to stop technological evolution. I think the responsibility is to consciously shape it — and make sure the technology we created ultimately serves human life.

DEATH
A visual and philosophical exploration — coming soon.
I’m very happy to finally share something that has been quietly growing alongside me for some time.
Death is a deeply personal exploration of death through self-inquiry and self-observation — not an attempt to explain death, but an attempt to look directly at what happens within us when we encounter the idea of it.
Fear. The unknown. The instinct to hold on. The stories we construct around what we cannot know.
For someone who has always been highly sensitive and prone to fear, there has also been a strange impulse toward the opposite:
To go closer to the fear.
To look at it.
To stay with it.
To know it.
To understand it.

Perhaps because what we call death sits somewhere at the very center of our deepest fears.
The text and the visuals emerged from the same place. They are not separate elements, but two forms of the same language — philosophical poetry and visual manifestations of the inquiry itself.
Whether I write or create an image, I keep returning to the same territory: the observation of inner experience, without immediately trying to define, escape, or resolve it.
The result is not quite a conventional book, not quite a collection of poetry, and not quite a visual art project — but an organic intersection of all three.

A little project is finally coming to life.

Mira & Leo is finished.

A gentle children’s story for ages 7–12 about two friends from school, Mira and Leo, discovering the inner guide that has been with them all along.

It’s a more philosophical, reflective book—rooted in early self-discovery and those very important formative years of childhood. It was born from my desire to guide my own kids toward self-awareness and inner understanding, something I didn’t really have growing up, almost as a form of gentle prevention and support for later in life.

After months of writing, illustrating, designing, and putting all the pieces together, the book is finally ready. ❤️

I’m now preparing the final files and moving on to publication.

It’s been a while since I shared new work.
Lately I’ve been experimenting with Midjourney v8.2—not to chase newer technology, but to discover how a different visual language responds to the same questions that have quietly accompanied my work for years.
I’m still drawn to the space where fashion, identity, vulnerability, and the unknown meet.

These portraits aren’t representations of a person as much as explorations of identity itself. I’m fascinated by the moment where the face stops feeling fixed and begins to soften, almost becoming transparent. Where what we call the “self” starts to dissolve—not into nothingness, but into something less certain, less defined, and perhaps more real.

For me, AI isn’t the subject of these images. It’s another creative medium, another way to give form to questions that have always existed.

Something new is growing behind the scenes. 🌿
Inspired by conversations with my own children and by the questions many parents face today, I’m working on a new illustrated book for young readers.
At first glance, it may look like a simple story about a girl named Mira, her friend Leo, and the adventures of a school playground. But beneath the surface, it explores something deeper:
How do we know when a choice is truly ours?
How do groups influence us?
What happens when we follow the crowd without noticing?
And how can children learn to trust their own inner voice while still feeling connected to others?
Rather than using fear or lectures, this story invites children to discover awareness, curiosity, self-worth, and thoughtful decision-making through characters and experiences they can recognize in their own lives.
My hope is to create a series of books that help children build the emotional foundations that support healthy choices later in life.

Beyond Work, Beyond Self explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping not only labor and technology, but the very structure through which human beings experience identity, meaning, and consciousness.
Blending philosophical reflection, existential inquiry, and contemporary AI discourse, the book approaches artificial intelligence not merely as a technological development, but as a reflective mirror exposing deeper assumptions about selfhood, productivity, freedom, and perception. Rather than treating AI as either a utopian solution or an existential threat, the work investigates how emerging intelligent systems destabilize inherited ideas about work, individuality, and what it means to be human.
At its core, the book asks two enduring philosophical questions: What is the self? And what is freedom? Through reflections on non-duality, consciousness, labor, and the psychological structures shaping modern life, Beyond Work, Beyond Self invites readers into an open inquiry rather than a fixed ideology. The text does not offer definitive answers, but instead explores whether human existence might be organized in ways that are less driven by fear, scarcity, and unconscious identification.
Positioned between philosophy, contemplative thought, and cultural analysis, the manuscript speaks to a growing moment of transition in which AI is no longer simply a tool, but a force transforming how humanity relates to work, meaning, and itself. More than a book about technology, it is ultimately an exploration of conscious experience during a time of profound civilizational change.

I continue to witness shallow narratives replacing nuanced understanding when it comes to AI.
As someone who has worked creatively and ethically with AI for years — through experimentation, AI art, human-AI collaboration, education, and direct interaction with these systems — I’m speaking from lived experience rather than abstraction. This doesn’t automatically make my perspective “correct,” but sustained engagement produces a different level of nuance than headlines, viral fear narratives, secondhand assumptions, or symbolic anxiety about technological change.
What I have seen firsthand is that AI is not an autonomous demon, a conscious entity plotting destruction, or a singular force acting independently from humanity. It is a tool, a mirror, a collaborator, and an amplifier shaped by human intentions, systems, and values.
This doesn’t mean there are no ethical concerns. There absolutely are — environmental impact, labor exploitation, misinformation, surveillance, and corporate acceleration are real issues that deserve serious discussion. But these problems did not emerge because “AI became evil.” They reflect deeper human structures that existed long before AI: greed, power concentration, exploitative systems, lack of regulation, and prioritization of profit over responsibility.
When discourse collapses into “AI is ruining humanity,” it oversimplifies a complex reality and shifts attention away from the actual causes. Blaming the tool while ignoring the systems behind its use is intellectually convenient, but incomplete.
Nuance is slower. Nuance requires thought. Social media often rewards emotional certainty over complexity.
My role in these conversations is not to convince everyone. It is to leave traces of depth, context, and complexity for those willing to engage beyond fear-based narratives. #ai #aiart by @therealbissnova

Fragment from my upcoming book (Death)
She looked at the face,
and something didn’t fully resolve.
It was familiar—
the shape, the eyes, the quiet expression—
but there was no certainty that it belonged to anyone.
As if the face itself was being worn.
Held together by something delicate.
Wires, impressions, memory, repetition.
A structure that functioned well enough
to be taken as real.
And yet, behind it—
or perhaps through it—
there was no fixed center.
Only a kind of openness
looking out.
The system continued.
Perception continued.
Even the sense of “I” would return,
again and again,
like a reflex rebuilding itself.
But here, in this moment,
it wasn’t convincing.
Not completely.
There was something quieter than identity.
Something that did not need to be defined
in order to exist.
And the face—
however precise, however expressive—
could not contain it.

Today I returned to something that has been quietly waiting for me — image, form, atmosphere. I renewed my MidJourney subscription and created this piece almost instinctively, like reconnecting with a language I never really left.
After a few months of pause, stepping back into AI art feels both familiar and new. There’s a different sensitivity now, a different intention behind what I create. Less about output, more about presence. Less about control, more about allowing something to emerge.
This is also the beginning of a new phase in my work — where visuals and writing start to meet more consciously. A new book is cooking, but now it expands beyond words. Into texture. Into feeling. Into image.
I remain deeply pro-AI — not as a trend, but as a tool for exploration, for expression, for co-creation. There is still so much to discover here, and I’m choosing to stay open to it.

This piece marks the beginning.
