It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Brenda Blethyn to Tyneside Cinema, on Monday 27th July, for our fifth edition of Desert Island Flicks!

Brenda took to our classic stage and spoke about some of her favourite films, sharing key memories and memorable clips from each one.

These were her 8 choices:

🎬 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
🎬 Saving Grace
🎬 Premature Burial
🎬 In The Heat Of The Night
🎬 Calamity Jane
🎬 What Ever Happened to Baby Jane - now screening 24th August
🎬 Secrets and Lies
🎬 The Banshees of Inisherin
