POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I know I've been sporting it all day on my story but eff it I'll do it some more 😄 I just wanna say HAWT DANG. You mean to tell me an album I made all myself finally came out onto streaming today? Not just an album that I wrote, but one that I WROTE, PERFORMED, AND PRODUCED ALL ON MY OWN?!?! This still feels like a massivd drean to me, and to say I am excited about putting this album out is a huge understatement. Let me also emphasize that this wasn't a very easy album to make in many ways. Countless nights recording demo riffs, pulling all nighters to track guitar and bass, blowing out my voice almost every recording session, spending hours in the final "work week" finalizing mixing and mastering, and doing a good portion of the album while doing a 7 week monster cut (I was ridiculously hangry) and dealing with personal struggles (the very ones I wrote about in all 13 of thsse songs). I'm sure 13 year old me is proud. I'm sure 17 year old me is proud. And last but not least (if you've listened to "X" get ready hehehe), "I'M SURE DADDY'S VERY PROUD!!!" Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME TO THE NEWER NORMAL!!!!!! This is only the beginning of so much more 😈 by @therealcharlespowell

Oh Tang, my sweet boy, my 4-legged best friend, a role model, an inspiration, a piece of family, thank you for the best 14(?) years of my life and the lives of my family. My heart is shattered right now as I write this, you were more than just a pet, you were a best friend, a brother, a companion, snuggle buddy, a dang fine singer (this cat could meow now lemme tell y'all), and just the greatest little bundle of joy my family and I could've ever asked for. I will miss you so much Tang, and I will forever cherish every memory, every cuddle, ever endless meow, ever purr, every day that we all got to spend with you, pal. Till we meet again in the presence of our Lord, I love you forever.
