Two years ago today I started this journey “Cooking Live with Chef K” every Monday night via FB! I know have a Cooking Show @cookingwithchef_kd! It’s been a long time coming, I’m not a person to brag however, Im proud of myself for not stoping. It’s been a heavy 2 years especially with Covid going on. I’m grateful to God for holding me up and giving me the courage to keep pressing. I’m here to encourage you to never give up… it may be your time, just not your turn! I’ve been told no, I’ve had hater’s, I’ve had fake love, I’ve had people whom I asked for help tell me no, when I knew they had it to give, I’ve had depression, I’ve even counted myself out, then I remembered to Wait on the promises of God.. remembering everything will happen in HIS timing. That carried me through my toughest moments in life. I smile now because my foundation is solid, being rejected makes you fight harder because it’s you, your dream, and your God. Nobody owes us nothing. So keep Going!! Now, Go Follow @CookingwithChefK on FB for more updates and shows.
More to come… I love y’all! by @therealchef_k

Standing in front of the home Michael Jackson was raised in made me think of myself… started in my mother’s kitchen braiding hair, talking to my teddy bears at night, telling them what I was dreaming to be when I got old enough…and I did it. Watching the movie let me know that even though life takes unexpected turns, you can get back up again… delayed but not denied!
