❤️‍🔥 Four years 🍇🌹🕯️
The traditional fourth anniversary gift is fruit and flowers, which seemed sweet... but perhaps a little restrained.
So I asked our dear friend and wildly talented florist @chanteusebud to take the assignment and run with it: Rococo-style fruit, flowers & candles (because what gays don’t love candles?) with this incredible vessel from @baskehome.
And because apparently we were already committed to the full still-life fantasy, the vintage mirror from @viandmercantile was exactly what my handsome guy wanted.
Four years married. ❤️
Still my favorite person. Still having fun, right? Still finding reasons (and time) to make ordinary things a little more beautiful.
Happy anniversary, handsome. Here’s to us. 🥂

When Chris and I first started dating, we traveled a lot. To ring in 2020, we went to NYC to celebrate with friends and somehow found ourselves with a private viewing of The Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The temple was gifted by Egypt to the United States in 1965 in gratitude for American help preserving Nubian monuments during the construction of the Aswan High Dam, dismantled stone by stone, shipped across the ocean, and reassembled here in 1978. Standing alone with it, quietly, felt surreal and deeply special.
Truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment I still treasure. Thank you again, @james_a_doyle 🫶 taken in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York by @therealchriskeene
