Here’s the contact sheet for the first roll of @kodak Gold 200 I shot through the Canon Sure Shot Max (it’s not the sexiest name). But hey, who cares, it works! Just a random collection of photos from the last month or so, which is really why I’ve been enjoying these 35mm point and shoot cameras. Yes I love my Hasselblad, yes I’ll never let it go, but unless you’re truly messed up in the head, it’s not a camera you always bring with.

I’m slowly getting back to the idea of always having a camera on me and just taking the photo for the sake of taking the photo. Because let’s be honest, that’s what it’s all about. by @therealcorymarr

Finally got around to scanning the test roll of film I shot on the Canon AF35M aka the Autoboy. First impressions, sick! The 2.8 lens is actually pretty noticeable, which isn’t really something I thought it was going to be, but it is. Obviously, with it being fully automatic, I don’t get to choose what f stop I’m shooting. But with only being able to shoot a max of 400 ISO film, I noticed it did shoot wide open more times than I expected. I also really dig the flash. It does take a few seconds to charge up, but it’s so bright so I get why. Plus it’s old. Also, I managed to shoot 39 total frames but as you can see, I lost 2 in the middle. Not sure what happened but I guess I still came up on top with 37 usable ones. by @therealcorymarr

Here are a few galleries I visited whenever I was in Santa Fe. And by galleries I mean alleyways. I will always have a soft spot for street art and I always think it’s cool to scope out the local tags. Plus, it’s also a good reason for me to slap up some stickers. by @therealcorymarr

This @kodak Tri-X 400 contact sheet spans 8 months, yes you read that right. It took me 8 months to shoot 36 photos. Straight up embarrassing. Graffiti in Sante Fe, my first art market and a friend’s band kicking off the summer. I still have a few of these queued up that I just never posted. I’m not sure why but I’ve had some self doubt recently regarding photography but we’re moving past that. I’m trying to get back into the swing of things, I promise. by @therealcorymarr

I brought my cameras with me again, look at me go! Summer is in full swing out here and I’m just trying to keep up. Speaking of keeping up, how on earth can I compete with a floral fit like this? Shout out to Russell (@lightnlense) for stopping to nerd out about cameras and letting me take some portraits. The flower photos are on loan because my camera got hijacked that night and they appeared on my SD card so I can’t take full credit.

Also, massive thank you to everyone that has came out to my markets through the summer, thank you to everyone for the continued support, thank you for being you. taken in Hillside Gardens and Events by @therealcorymarr

New art market means new pieces. Trying out some new framed prints as well as some never before printed ones. Honestly, I’m not even sure if I’ve ever even posted them, let alone printed them. But hey, gotta keep things fresh.

I’ll be at the Palmer Lake Art Market (@plartscouncil) this weekend, Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th from 10AM-4PM slanging some prints and stickers! Come say hello and let’s BS about how expensive film photography is. by @therealcorymarr

Look at me, I actually brought my camera on a hike. I even dropped off the film and am waiting for it to get developed. Go me! by @therealcorymarr
