As a little girl, I was always drawn to creativity; fashion, art, design, and the power of bringing ideas to life. Never in a million years did I think that the school I would pass by in Atlanta would one day become my dream school. Life took me on a different path first. Through track and field, I earned a full scholarship and graduated in 2020 with my Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance. While I was grateful, I was heartbroken that COVID took away the opportunity to walk across the stage. But I knew my story wasn’t finished. In December 2023, I submitted my application to SCAD and put it all on the line. When I received my acceptance letter, I knew a new chapter had begun. SCAD gave me so much more than a degree. It introduced me to the business of creativity, luxury brands, innovation, incredible opportunities, meaningful connections, lifelong friendships, and a new way of seeing the world. It challenged me to think bigger and create boldly. One thing about me, I move quietly. I’m the pop-out queen. This was a journey I held close to my heart. I wanted to do the work, trust the process, and let the results speak for themselves. As of Friday, May 29th, they did. I am proud to say that I have earned my Master’s degree in Luxury and Brand Management from the Savannah College of Art and Design. 🎓✨ To everyone who supported, encouraged, prayed for, and poured into me throughout this journey; thank you. And to my partner, thank you for the late nights, listening to every idea, and believing in me every step of the way. This moment is for the little girl who loved fashion, the athlete who kept running, the graduate who never got her walk in 2020, and the woman who never stopped believing there was more ahead.
