2. In the “HS Code” Column
Shipper puts international code for the auto part.
* 8708.29 – Body parts and accessories (bumpers, fenders, panels)
* 8708.99 – Other chassis/vehicle parts (brakes, steering, suspension)
* 8409.91 – Engine parts (pistons, valves, blocks)
* 8511.50 – Electrical parts (alternators, starters)
3.In the “Description of Goods” Column
The shipper must clearly state the part name, the specific vintage vehicle
4.In the “Special Instructions” or “Invoice Notes” Section
The shipper should add a direct instruction for the Canadian customs broker to ensure the exemption is activated during the Pre-Arrival Review System
