From Head Start to doctorate. 🎓

God prepared a table for me in the presence of everything that tried to break me. Every obstacle. Every broken friendship & relationship. Every family disappointment. Every season of isolation. Every attempt to bully, embarrass, discourage, or make me question who I was. None of it stopped what God had already ordained.

I kept going when it was hard. I kept working when nobody understood the vision. I learned that every closed door, every loss, every setback, and every person who underestimated me was never the end of my story.

The little girl in that Head Start graduation gown had no idea what she would have to overcome to get here, but she made it.

This year required hard choices and honest boundaries. I retired from full-time travel nursing and learned that choosing myself sometimes meant disappointing others. I lost friendships by prioritizing my peace, my partner, and my future but I gained clarity and the confidence to say no without guilt. No more overextending. No more abandoning myself.

In between the growth, I crossed cities and oceans… Arizona, Cancun, Jamaica, Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice, Lake Como and Bellagio, Seattle, San Francisco, Napa, San Diego, Hawaii, Tokyo, and Seoul. I shared these moments with friends, laughter, and healing. One of my proudest memories was taking my sister out of the country for the very first time… watching her experience the world through fresh eyes.

And somewhere along the way, love met me fully. Forever began in Hawaii.
I GOT ENGAGED!!!!!! 💍🤍

I learned that rest is not weakness, boundaries are not selfish, and alignment will always cost you something but it gives you everything that matters.
