Just starting… freely, softly, without fear of mistakes.
Letting each stroke exist without judgment.

Sometimes, that’s where the magic begins. 🎨🍷

In this portrait, I offer more than color — I offer respect, tradition, and the enduring spirit of my ancestors.

Art speaks where words fall silent — a journey that carries you away from home into realms of magic, spirit, and wonder. It opens unseen doors, transforming everything it touches.

Thank you to @ellaeyo & @manis__aroma for championing me, and to United Capital Securities team for bringing this to fruition!! 🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️🎊🎊✨

Excited to be working on my first commission from a client in Lisbon, Portugal! This piece is still in progress, but it’s already coming to life, inspired by the vastness of the universe.

There’s something about paintings that explore space—galaxies, stars, and the infinite unknown—that reflects our own human experience. We are all travelers in a cosmic journey, searching for meaning, connection, and something beyond ourselves.

Looking forward to sharing the final piece soon. Stay tuned! ✨ #portugal #paintings #theartist #cosmic #sothebys #galaxies by @therealj_dan

My aunt sent an invitation for her 60th birthday, and before then, I had been thinking about a special gift. Initially, I considered flowers and a customized bracelet since she loves flowers. But then, a thought struck me.. why not make a painting? I wondered if I could finish a painting in just seven days and still make it perfect. Pushing aside those doubts, I decided to go for it and started searching for the perfect picture of her. Luckily, I found one that was just right.

Fast forward to the last day, I almost gave up and started considering an alternative. I thought, “Daniel, you dan f* up, you for just buy the flowers o” But I pushed myself harder, put in more effort, and somehow managed to beat the clock! I finished the painting and got it wrapped just in time.

This is me reminding you that you can achieve any goal you set your mind to, as long as you block out the negativity and keep going. Cheers to 2024 and a Happy New Year! 🥳🥳🎆🎇🥂 taken in Lagos, Nigeria by @therealj_dan
