C O N T R O L

Today, Daybreak Beach Club turns one.

And honestly, I’m still learning how to let go.

I thought things would click quickly—full beach days, instant community, clear direction. But it’s been slower and more layered.

Right now, I’m in the in-between. Still building, still hoping, still figuring it out.

But in the midst of all that, there’s been so much good—quiet wins, new connections, and moments that remind me why I started.

Not too long ago, I learned this lesson in Moorea—surrounded by coral reefs and stressed about the intricacies and pressure of my research. Then again in school, and of course, in my relationship with myself.

And here I am, learning it all over again.

So if you need the reminder: loosen your grip and you won’t miss the beauty that’s already unfolding.
