POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I have been in rooms that changed the entire direction of my life.

Not because of a stage or a speech. Because of who was sitting next to me.

One conversation shifted how I saw myself. One relationship opened a door I could not have opened on my own. One decision woke up a version of me that had been sitting there quiet, waiting on permission.

That is what the right room does. It does not add to your life. It reorders it.

This is not another event on a calendar. This is a turning point for whoever walks in ready.

World class leaders. Real relationships. People building something that outlives them.

You will not walk out the same person who walked in. I can promise you that.

You cannot fix what you have never measured.

You track your revenue.
You track your calendar.
You track your steps.
You track your macros.

But you have never once looked at what is actually happening inside you.

I ran the test because I was tired of guessing.

The number told me the truth in about three weeks.

No guessing. No hype. Just a baseline.

And guess what
 I failed the baseline test.

I was shocked!! Because I am in the top 5% that is not just healthy but actively optimizing my nutrition and performance. And the “clinical grade” omega I was taking didn’t pass the test.

So I switched to the BalanceOil and you can see the results. Proof not guessing.

Do you know if you are wasting money on products that aren’t getting you the results you are paying them for?

I strongly believe everyone should test. But if you are a high performer like me you might be shocked like I was.

Help is Near

We weren’t created to go through life carrying heavy burdens that weigh us down.

Thankfully, we don’t have to.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

When Jesus came to earth, He took our burdens onto Himself. Even though we were far from God, Jesus carried the punishment for our wrongdoing and bore our suffering. And because of that, we have a Savior who understands and has compassion on us.

This Savior meets us in our mess, and invites us to find rest in Him. This Savior is God with us.

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.
Psalms 68:19 NIV

King David wrote that Psalm hundreds of years before Jesus’ arrival. But even then, God was illustrating to people that His character was constant, and He was trustworthy.

God watched over Noah when the earth was flooded (Genesis 8:1), and He made a covenant with Abraham to bless, protect, and multiply his descendants (Genesis 17:4-7). He took care of the Israelites when they wandered through the wilderness (Deuteronomy 2:7), and He comforted David when people were trying to kill him.

God has never stopped being true to who He is. He is our ever-present help in time of need. He is our constant source of strength. He is our comforter and our provider. The God that David praises in Psalm 68 is our God. He is the One who continually takes care of us, stooping down to meet us in our mess and carry us out of brokenness.

He daily bears our burdens.

Will we still endure hard times? Yes. But we will never have to go through them alone. The Savior of the world is near. God is with us.

Our Trustworthy God

Have your plans been derailed? Have your dreams experienced a detour? Has your life taken an unforeseen turn?

It’s been said that God works in mysterious ways, which is absolutely true. And how His sovereignty (His supreme power and authority) interplays with human choices is equally laced with mystery.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul acknowledges the unexpected hardships, suffering, and corruption the believers were dealing with at that time. But he also encourages them with these words:

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Maybe you lost a loved one.
Maybe someone you respect disappointed you.
Maybe someone in your family received a hard diagnosis.
Maybe your job title shifted, which has shaken your identity.
Maybe reality doesn’t match what you see on social media.
Maybe you made a decision you regret.
Maybe you’ve found yourself questioning God.
Maybe someone you love walked away.
Maybe you put your whole heart into something or someone, but it didn’t go how you hoped.

Though it might seem hard to believe, God can use it all.

Needy by Default

Jesus healed people who were sick and fed people who were hungry. Because of that, great crowds were following Him.

But He wanted them to know that who He was was greater than what He had to offer

“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God could have hardwired us to need nothing, but instead, He made us dependent on things like food, water, oxygen, sleep, sunlight—and Him. He designed this world intentionally, with specific needs and certain limitations.

We are needy by default.

Just as food and water are essential for human life, everyday realities point us to spiritual truths

We need Jesus even more than we need the essentials of life.

We can search for fulfillment in our work and relationships, as well as in money, fame, power, sex, achievement, and adventure. But it all results in emptiness. It’s all like chasing after the wind.

So let’s not just follow Jesus merely for what He has to offer, but for who He is. Let’s realize that this world will never satisfy, but we already have access to true nourishment.

We can come to Him to be filled because He is the bread of life.

The brain you will have at 80 is being built by the omega-6 to omega-3 ratio you have today.

Sit with that for a second.

Not next year. Not when you retire. Today. Every meal you eat is either protecting the brain you will think with decades from now, or quietly working against it.

Here is what most people never hear. Your brain is nearly 60% fat, and a huge share of that is omega-3. DHA, a single omega-3, makes up as much as 40% of the polyunsaturated fat in your brain cells. It is not a side player. It is structural. It runs your focus, your memory, your mood, and how your brain holds up against the wear of time.

Now here is the problem.

Your body was designed to run near a 1 to 1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3. The average person today is walking around at 20 to 1, sometimes higher. That imbalance drives inflammation, and inflammation does not stay quiet. Over years and decades, it is one of the forces that wears the brain down.

This is the part that should wake you up. The decline most people fear at 80 is not decided at 80. It is being set in motion right now, one day of balance or imbalance at a time. You are either making deposits or taking withdrawals, and you do not feel the account draining until much later.

The good news? This is one of the few things about aging you can actually measure and change. You do not have to guess where you stand. A simple finger-prick test shows you your ratio. From there you correct it, and you retest to prove it moved.

You cannot control everything about how you age. But you can influence the single most important organ you own, starting with BalanceOil in the morning.

The brain at 80 is built by the choices at 40, 50, and 60.

So the real question is simple. Do you know your number? Or are you gambling with the brain you are going to need for the rest of your life?

Forgiveness Matters

One of the most profound Biblical examples of forgiveness is found in a story Jesus told about a king who wanted to settle his debts. One man owed the king a lot of money that he couldn’t repay, but the king had mercy on him and forgave the debt.

Afterward, the forgiven man encountered someone who owed him a small debt. But instead of showing mercy and forgiveness, he sends the man to prison until the debt is repaid. When the king hears about this, he is outraged at the hypocrisy, and has the forgiven man arrested.

If we’re being honest with ourselves, we probably fit into this story somewhere. How often have we chosen not to forgive someone while happily receiving the forgiveness that God offers us?

We’ve all made mistakes. We’ve all rebelled against God. And all wrongdoing is contrary to God’s ways. Some sins have bigger consequences—but every mistake causes us to fall short of God’s perfection.

Forgiveness doesn’t necessarily erase the hurt caused, but it does help us heal and move forward. We will never know someone else’s entire life story. We won’t always understand what experiences impact the decisions someone makes. That’s why empathy matters.

Showing empathy requires placing ourselves in the position of the person who’s offended us, and choosing to understand their burdens. This is what Jesus did when He came to earth, experienced what it was like to be human, and then took our sins on Himself when He died for us. Although we have all wronged Him, He gave up His life to forgive and rescue us.

Scripture isn’t asking us to do something that Jesus hasn’t already done for us. And, Scripture also says that to the extent we forgive, we will be forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15). So if we truly want to experience God’s forgiveness, then we need to extend forgiveness to others—even when we can’t forget what they’ve done.

So is there someone you’re withholding forgiveness from? Ask God to show you who you need to forgive. Then, allow God to shift your perspective and soften your heart toward that person. Let Him give you the strength and empathy you need to forgive.

Lasting Marriage Tip: Remember the day you said “I do.”

There’s something powerful about watching two people start their forever. The vows. The tears. The nervous laughter. The moment they look at each other and promise to do life together, no matter what.

It’s holy. It’s beautiful. It’s the beginning of something only God can fully write.

But here’s what every married couple needs to remember

Your wedding was one day.
Your marriage is every day.

The vows don’t just belong to that moment at the altar. They belong to every ordinary morning after. Every hard conversation. Every busy season. Every decision to keep choosing each other when it would be easier to drift.

“For better or for worse” sounds romantic on your wedding day.
It sounds like a promise worth keeping on year 10, year 20, year 50.

So every once in a while, go back to that day in your mind.

Remember how you looked at them.
Remember what you promised.
Remember who you became when you said “I do.”

Then live those vows out loud today.

Because the couples who last aren’t the ones with the prettiest weddings.
They’re the ones who keep saying “I do” long after the music stops.

To every newly married couple just starting out
welcome to the greatest adventure of your life.
To every couple deep in the journey
 renew the promise today.

The best marriages aren’t built at the altar.
They’re built in all the ordinary days that follow.

And this couple right here is an incredible example of everything I mentioned above for their two kids who are just starting out on their marriage journey!! by @therealjoeldunn
