The enemy has tried everything—addiction, trauma, loss, lies, fear, and the weight of our past. Yet here we stand. Not because we’re strong men, but because we serve a stronger Savior.

Sergio and I aren’t standing on our own strength, our testimony, or our reputation. We stand on the Solid Rock—Jesus Christ. The storms may rage, hell may roar, and darkness may surround us, but the gates of hell will never prevail against what Christ has established.

We don’t glorify the battle—we glorify the King who already won it.

Our scars remind us where we’ve been. Our faith declares whose we are. And our lives exist to point people to the One who breaks chains, heals hearts, and saves souls.

“No weapon formed against us shall prosper.” (Isaiah 54:17)

“Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)

We will stand. We will preach. We will laugh. We will love. We will endure.

Because when Christ is your foundation, hell can shake the ground—but it cannot move the Rock. 🪨✝️

Salt Lake City | Stop #5 🏔️

What a beautiful stop on this tour. The mountains were breathtaking, the fellowship was life-giving, and a friendly game of basketball reminded me I’m not 23 anymore. 😮‍💨🏀

I speak on behalf of The MATW Forever Tour family when I say we’re incredibly grateful to @gabe_costello23 and everyone who served us with such love and generosity. Thank you for making us feel at home.

We ended the night in prayer, experiencing a fresh outpouring from the Lord, followed by another divine appointment at In-N-Out Burger. God is faithful.

Every city has been a reminder that this tour is ultimately about people, fellowship, and pointing others to Christ. To God be all the glory.

This isn’t goodbye but rather see you again!

People say, “It’s just burgers.”

Believers know… sometimes it’s divine appointments.

Tonight after our Salt Lake City stop on MATW Forever Tour @5iveola , @plainjamesdw and I were about to drive another 10 minutes to a different burger spot because the other brothers wanted some different food so we all agreed to go to the other @innout instead. Looking back, it wasn’t “whatever reason”… it was the Lord directing our steps.

“The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.” — Proverbs 16:9

As we’re waiting for our food (my first-ever In-N-Out experience… and let me tell y’all… it did NOT disappoint! 🔥🍔😂), the Lord connected us with an incredible couple @seananukwuem & his beautiful bride Jenna!

Come to find out, we already knew many of the same brothers and sisters in Christ from another state! What are the odds? @apostlejamesalford & @keziaalford

The world calls that coincidence.

We call it the providence of God.

We shared fellowship, encouragement, testimonies, and watched the Lord remind us once again that His family stretches far beyond state lines. The Body of Christ is beautiful.

And here’s the part that made me smile…

Even the three Bible verses printed on the cups and wrappers were exactly what we needed. God has a way of whispering through the smallest details when our hearts are paying attention.

“A man’s steps are established by the LORD, when he delights in His way.” — Psalm 37:23

“We know that for those who love God all things work together for good…” — Romans 8:28

A burger became fellowship.
A meal became ministry.
A detour became a divine appointment.

Never underestimate what God can do with a change of plans.

(And yes… In-N-Out earned a convert. 😂🍔)

May the Lord continue to order our steps—whether it’s to a church, a comedy club, or an In-N-Out Burger. Sometimes the Kingdom is waiting where you least expect it. 🙌🏽

If that wasn’t enough to convince Christ Jesus is real and intentional! I met @oluoflife at a @tedbaehr fund raiser some years ago, well that’s Sean’s cousin 😳! Mic drop 🎤
