Many thanks to the very talented @davidlechimiste for that great video. Chimiste is a director, music producer, and Graffiti writer that I know since 1987 as we grew up in the same neighborhood. Here filming that 80 meters long mural I did for Martin Luther King in our hood...

Back in 1997, I received a call from MTV UK that asked me if I'd like to come with them to cover the UK Fresh '97 because they didn't know anybody appearing on the program and they knew me for collecting documentaries and footages about Hip-Hop culture. I didn’t have any experience as a TV reporter but I said yes. That was for me the opportunitie to meet some legends I knew and respect. Sadly, after their editing you couldn't see Grandmaster Caz and DJ Charlie Chase which is regretable...

En 1997, j'ai reçu un appel de MTV UK. On m'a proposé de les accompagner pour couvrir l'émission UK Fresh '97, car ils ne connaissaient personne parmi les participants et me connaissaient pour ma collection de documentaires et d'images sur la culture hip-hop. Je n'avais aucune expérience de journaliste télé, mais j'ai accepté. C'était pour moi l'occasion de rencontrer des légendes que je connaissais et respectais. Malheureusement, au montage, on ne voit plus Grandmaster Caz et DJ Charlie Chase, ce qui est bien dommage…

Mon partner in crime de toujours @askoskoa et moi même serons à la convention de disques "Paris loves vinyl" le Dimanche 30 Novembre de 10h à 18h pour vendre des disques de nos collections personnelles. Des 12", LPs, promos... et surtout beaucoup de US Hip-Hop en ce qui me concerne. DJ Asko fera aussi un set DJ vers midi à ne pas rater. Nous aurons aussi des t-shirts merch exclusifs à vendre de la collection "Who got the Funk" et "I believe in miracles"... Don’t miss it!!!
