I passed my NCLEX in 85 questions, on the first try! 🥹
I received my ATT 5/9 and scheduled my NCLEX for 5/12 @ 8am.

Having confidence, faith, dedication, AND, perseverance paved the way for just the START of my nursing journey. Starting in the ICU makes me another step closer to my dream career of becoming a CRNA.

Thank you to my mom and my ganny, to instilling diligence, God’s word and faith in me that I can do anything I put my heart and mind into. I’m truly thankful and blessed to have two powerful women behind me. 🥹❤️

Oh and not to mention I’m employed and LICENSED before even walking the stage! 💐

These last three years have been great, no matter how many hours i worked a week, early mornings, long commutes, and the late nights, I did it. To me, dedication, perseverance and prayer were the biggest factors of this journey—though at one point I felt lost. Starting nursing school just felt right. The opportunity of lifelong learning and being able to care & educate others. ⚕️

It feels good to start and finish a chapter. 💐🩵

October 2022, I made the great decision of changing from my chem pre-med degree to nursing. I went through so many emotions because of this decision, that meant i would graduate wayyy later when i was set to finish my original degree in 2023.

May 2023, I started nursing school and i realized it was one of the best decisions i made yet! As I am an outlet for those looking to make that change, looking for guidance with nursing school, or just want to get in the healthcare field altogether. This past year has matured me so much along with learning a different meaning of diligence & perseverance; because life be lifing sometimes. 😅

Here we are in January of 2025, entering my senior year of nursing school! I’m glad to say I’ve accepted a nurse extern position to help further my clinical skills & knowledge. 16 more months to go before I become Kennadi Wilson, BSN! 🎓🫶🏽

It’s getting real! Today, was my Transition to Care Pinning Ceremony honoring us as we get ready to start clinical rotations next month. Our hands were blessed to care and heal, and to honor our patients & their families through either the hardest or greatest times in their lives! 🥹

I was honored to say the Transition to Care pledge! 💙 Proud to say I’ll be coming to a hospital near you soon! 🏥💞 @kennthenurse taken in Ascension St Vincents by @therealkenndoll
