If everybody’s “REAL”, then who’s fake?

Individuals who misclassify themselves as “real” usually have a hard time displaying positive traits to support their claim. These people have little or no self awareness and have a hard time self evaluating.

Individuals may seem totally unconscious and unaware of the negative impact they have on others (I have most definitely been a negative influence in others life’s). Self reflection helps to ground and humble one’s self enough to make proper evaluations and changes.

Pride and ego are the main reasons people can’t see their harm, as a result of being too high on the horse. The fruit(s) we bear is what makes us real and usually our peers will make our claims of being real, rather than us self proclaiming it. (Ask my people about me 🤞🏾)

We all fall short of the glory. It is our responsibility, however, to focus on the “plank” in our eye and not the thorn in someone else’s . The finger you point has 3 pointing back at you. Go inward. You may find that the problem is you and you’re not as real as you thought. 🙏🏾❤️💯

IYKYK! Older black folks, black men in particular always carried wisdom behind humor and sarcasm. And some just be way too stuck in their ways 🤦🏽‍♂️😅.

Since I was young I’ve been in touch with this older man (Willie Earl) inside my spirit. Some know quite literally that I have an old soul. Rather it be wisdom, humor, sarcasm, or being stuck in my ways, I have always resonated with my elders deeply, especially the ones who saw ME.

I have no choice but to go inward and understand the life some of these men lead to get to such a point of wisdom. And even though some are stuck in their ways, that isn’t always a bad thing. The saying ‘stand for something or you’ll fall for anything’ comes to mind. And while trying a new cinnamon tasting honey may not be the most extreme example of standing for something, it’s definitely something to consider. 🙏🏾💯

Extend grace. 🙏🏾❤️🤞🏾💯

Often times we don’t extend grace to ourselves, let alone others. The term ‘cruel world’ comes to mind when I think about how much we take this fragile life for granted.

Our lives shouldn’t be counting blessings of being alive or out of an institution because we are in survival mode and ‘it could be worse’.

Getting a personal relationship with Yah is always going to be the answer to self improvement and love but the COMMUNITY doesn’t reciprocate most times.

Have grace. 🙏🏾❤️

Everybody is not going to get. Everybody’s not going to be able to come with you. Yah will sort who deserves a part of your legacy and inheritance. 🙏🏾❤️🤞🏾

The fruits we bare aren’t for us. Therefore, we shouldn’t feel bad for the passerby’s picking and passing by. However, we are to discern our intention as well as theirs. In one season, your fruit may have sustained. But in another season, your fruit might be poisonous to that same person.

Intention and perception. What intention do we have (or others) on how we use our fruits? Do we want to be apart of something? Or do we want to belong to something? This perception protects us from occult type thinking and being manipulated for a “cause”.

Responsibility after realization. Once we go inward and admit our shortcomings (sin), we can then make changes with ourselves to choose better. We have a responsibility to self access. After we realize, we have to be accountable and will be, like it or not. Growth happens and “fruits” (of the Spirit) are produced.

Pride and Ego

We all measure on the scales of both these vices. And while some will argue about healthy pride/ego, the question has to be asked: what’s the intention? Am I a proud believer? Or am I walking in pride because I’m in church every Sunday? Is my ego big because of self confidence? Or am I bombarding people with my personal experience?

We can be proud of our children just as Yah delights in us when we are obedient (healthy). But some individuals cannot bring themselves to apologize when wrong (unhealthy). We all fall short of the Glory of Yah and we are all (perfectly) imperfect. So when pride/ego causes lack of accountability/lies to protect image, it’s also denying being imperfect or human.

Humility and humble both has “hum” prefixes (in Latin) meaning “to ground”. I like to believe “Human” shares the same prefixes for a reason. As a reminder we will have to ground ourselves constantly in this life. Go inward and be honest. Kill the pride and ego and grow. 🙏🏾❤️

We often struggle to understand things that can’t be explained all the time. Believers in Yah will say things like ‘Only Yah knows’ because they understand that ‘Yahs will be done’ would always be favorable for them.

No matter what loss, sacrifice, or hardship we may face, we can be a victim or a victor from the lessons (mistakes) in this life. By understanding none of us are perfect or exempt from experiencing life. Things will be up, things will be down. Things will be lost, things will be FOUND.

Therefore, whatever happens is supposed to happen. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have happened. This speaks on the past present and future situations. Find the lesson. Go inward. Be honest. Be free from the stress of perfectionism and actually live. Allow yourself to live, hurt, love, be vulnerable etc to experience life through your OWN circumstances vs living bi-curiously through others. 🙏🏾💯❤️
