POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

About a year ago, some of my car industry family that I have known since I started back in 1998, we were all just hanging out at a carshow and we began to reminisce about the days during late 1990’s through the early 2000’s when the scene was a lot more different than it is today. Back in the day when there was no such thing as “social media” or smart phones. When we wanted to street race, we went to areas where we wouldn’t be seen and we had lookouts letting us know if the police was nearby where we would then move out for another sport or meet up at a late night food spot and just hang out. Where if you wanted to meet a headliner model, you would drive to a carshow to meet and take a picture with them even if that should was hundreds of miles away.

This past weekend I was with my OG show brother @frisco_ss_77 and we began talking about creating a project to get car industry family who were there almost since the very beginning together and just sit down and tell stories, share our experiences and what we think of the industry today and where it’s heading. I tentatively call this Project 97-27 (referring to when many got into the scene back in 1997 to where it is in 2027 when we are looking to do this). More to come!!! by @therealkuyajay

As the sun sets here at the airport here in Honolulu, so ends my @spocom @spocom.hawaii and birthday celebration for my brother @josephjoel From beginning to end I had the time of my life and re-charged my mental batteries to ready myself for the daily life that I got away from for a few days. A huge MAHALO to industry friends and family that I got to see this weekend as well as those I got to meet for the first time. When I wake up I’ll be back in the Bay Area but my mind will still be in paradise. As usual, thanks you’s and shout outs to come so stay tuned.
