if you ever see a picture of my family, nine times out of ten, you’ll see me by my grandma.

she was my everyday person, someone who saw & supported me every step of the way.

someone i could have the same conversation with a thousand times and somehow it never got old.

i’m so glad that i got to have you for so long. that i got to spend all my days knowing you.

thank you for playing such an integral part in making me who i am. for taking care of me growing up and for all the times you snuck money in my backpack when i wasn’t looking lol.

you lived such a full life. you created an entire family, generations of us with the same smile as yours.

& i feel truly blessed, i had you for 21 years! still, it’ll never be long enough.

the strongest woman i’ve ever known, i will look up to you in every lifetime. 🤍 by @thereallaylac
