This is quite honestly my least favorite activity. I tried it 5 or 6 years ago, and now they beg me for it every summer. I thought I was getting away with skipping it this year, but the guilt they laid on me once they realized they only had two days left before school starts😂 I figure if it’s that important to them it’s worth it!

I had an insect plan yesterday, but it only took them about 10 minutes to get into their play scheme, and there was no way I was stopping this! Nothing I would have taught them would have compared to the learning happening here. This is why I love my job, I can pivot when necessary, and do what’s best for them vs what’s best for the adults! I’ve been dreading this, but this beautiful little guy is going to be leaving in the next couple of weeks. We’re all very sad to see him go, we love him so very much, and are hoping he will be back in the future. For the time being Love of Learning has an infant opening (ages 6 weeks-2 years). THIS KID! He hasn’t even been here for a full year, but it feels like he’s been a part of our crew forever. He fell right in with us and so easily and quickly became one of my favorite people.
