Five years ago, I never imagined I’d be sharing my story on television.

Last week, I had the honor of joining @charlie_langton on @fox2detroit during Cancer Survivor Month to reflect on my experience with triple-negative breast cancer, celebrating five years in remission, and the purpose that emerged from one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Writing From Diagnosis to Survival became my way of reaching back for the person I once was; the one searching for reassurance, understanding, and a reason to believe brighter days were still ahead. Today, it’s my privilege to encourage survivors, caregivers, and families navigating the realities of a breast cancer diagnosis with honesty, faith, and hope.

I’m deeply thankful to Charlie and the FOX 2 team for helping amplify conversations that matter, and to every person who has prayed for me, supported me, read the book, attended an event, or simply shared a kind word along the way. Your encouragement has allowed this message to reach far beyond my own story.

If we’ve recently connected through the community, an event, or you discovered my story through Fox 2, welcome. I’m a mother, entrepreneur, breast cancer survivor, and author of From Diagnosis to Survival:Then, Now , and Beyond.

I wrote this book because I know what it feels like to hear life-changing words and wonder what comes next. My hope is that through my journey, others facing diagnosis, survivorship, or supporting a loved one can find hope, perspective, and the reminder that they’re not alone.
