Words can’t even describe the love I have for this show, but I will give it a go. Newsies @themuny has been one of the most fulfilling experiences I have had to date. Between the killer cast to the crew running everything, all the way down to the orchestra of musicians that drove us to success, the village that we made together was something I’ve never been able to fathom. Being amongst lifelong friends I didn’t know I was going to make yet was truly a treasure richer than any of us could have hoped for, along with the outstanding show that we were able to put together.

Big shoutout to Denis Jones, @richardjhinds @mrpatrickg and @maestranyc for giving me and everybody in the cast a chance to set your vision to life. The amount of intricate detail and thoughtfulness set to each phrase and step was truly appreciated. I felt like a kid again falling in love with the details of what musical theatre can be all over again and for that I am truly grateful.

I could wax poetically about this show all day, but that would be a lot to read. So I will end saying that the Muny magic is not a joke. Also newsies forever😎😎😎 by @therealmilesm

I first choreographed this dance back in 2008, so it was such a fun exercise to revisit “baby Caitlin” choreography. It was so fun to preserve parts of the original while weaving in my new self to the piece.

Thank you to Caley, Miles, and Sachi for bringing this dance to life so beautifully. The four of us first worked together on White Christmas at TUTS, so getting to reunite for this project was a blast!

A huge thank you to Laura for making this gorgeous space available to us. It was everything I’d dreamed of and more. And thank you to my friend Erik for making the connection in the first place.

And special shout out to Max and Abby for being my OG dancers and longtime pals. So grateful for friends who encouraged me from a young age.

Now tell me… how many differences did you spot? 👀 by @therealmilesm

My opening sequence for the show last week at @theriveroakstheatre. shot by @therealmilesm, dressed by @laishalarue, directed and edited by me.

I have been making home videos since I was a kid. Before I even knew what drag was, I saw myself in drag (hard to explain) and on screen. What I do now is an accumulation of everything I have learned and experienced up to this point in life. From theatre, to dance, to photography and videography, costuming, makeup, mix making, marketing and business skills and so much more. Drag is the most hands on, creative and personal thing I’ve gotten my hands on. I just want to keep going and going. I have so many dreams of what this can all become and I’m laser focused. Thank yall so much for supporting me in this journey I literally couldn’t do it without y’all❤️

THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE. has been such an inspiration to me recently and feels so personal. Getting to do this music in the theatre was magical. Thank you @raye ✨

What if the dance Gene Kelly filmed — but the world never saw — came to life again?

For Gene, my first crush.
For the dance that was lost… until now.

“I’ve Got a Crush on You”
3/35 — #Choreographing35 continues ☕💋

Choreographed & Produced by Caitlin Cannon
Starring Miles Marmolejo🌟
In Collaboration with Chef’s Providence🇫🇷
Music: “I’ve Got a Crush on You” 🎶

Fell in love with Chef’s Providence the moment I found this authentic, family-run French bakery — a little slice of France in Tomball, Texas. 🥐So grateful for this collaboration.

Starring Miles, whose dancing, acting, and storytelling brought this piece to life with such grace and heart. 🎬💛
