Ikigai Album Listening / Multi-Artist Event
THANK YOU

I just wanted to put out a big thank you to everyone who came out to the show last night. It was beautiful to see a room full of amazing, kind, and obviously attractive people there to support a good cause.

As a group, we were able to raise $350 for Islamic Relief Canada’s Emergency Gaza Fund.
Once the donation has been officially transferred over to them, I’ll make a post to show everyone that your kindness truly paid off.

The point of the show — and honestly my whole album — is accepting that chasing some kind of accolade or fame with my music isn’t the path that serves me or the world best. My path is to make art. I have to do that. And if I can use it to make even a small difference for people in need, then that’s what matters.

Having a group of friends and family who genuinely care about the betterment of our community and the world is a wonderful thing.

Special thank you to Supermarket Bar & Variety for being such a great venue and for giving us the space to make this night happen.

Special thank you to the performers:

Jon Mouré — your performance set the tone for a night of true art. Haunting, NIN-esque, and it felt like the ending of a Twin Peaks episode.

Neaa — you’re just killing it. Your vocals are always smooth like butter, and the songs are so vibey it’s hard not to catch yourself memorizing the words immediately.

Will — man, you tore that shit down. Every single person who saw you is now a fan. The work you put into your craft is obvious.

Daybreak — Thank you for being part of the show and helping back me on a few songs , and having that rock undertone really added a nice element to the evening .

Also… the album was supposed to drop the day after the show, but I may have (did) accidentally delete all my files from the cloud while trying to free up space on my old laptop to run the show. I’ll never understand how any of that works, so everything was gone-ISH and now I’m resorting and exporting files again. I was gonna remix some stuff anyway.
Album will be out November 29th 💿

This past Friday I did my first live gig as a feature for @welchsgrapemusic alongside @amon_carpenter. 🎤🧍🏻‍♀️

This was the best way I could’ve kick started the performance aspect of my career! I used to get so nervous just THINKING about one day performing, and now I can’t wait for the next one.. (don’t get me wrong I’m still nervous lol).

Thank you so much to @welchsgrapemusic for having me. And thank you so so much to everyone who came out to show support 🫶🏼💞

I’ll keep you all posted on the next one :)

Yesterday, during a practice session, I showed @welchsgrapemusic and @amon_carpenter a song I’ve been sitting with for a while now. I was having trouble coming up with a melody I was happy with. We sat with the beat for a few minutes and started bouncing ideas off of each other almost right away. These guys are super super talented.

The result was something I couldn’t have come up with by myself!

Reminiscing on how this music journey started for me. This songs called Eat and was the first song I ever recorded and dropped. Had the most fun recording it in @_retro_d ‘s dorm after classes with a sock over the mic as a pop filter 😂

If you wanna give it a listen, it’s on my SoundCloud, which is linked in my bio!

ALSO make sure to PRESAVE All That as it’s dropping THIS FRIDAY!!!!
