God isolating me in this season is not punishment it’s preservation. Sometimes, in order to elevate, you have to remove toxic traits, unhealthy habits, and people who no longer align with where God is taking you. I can’t believe my baby is officially a middle schooler. Watching you grow into the smart, beautiful, and amazing young lady you are becoming makes me so proud. I pray this school year is filled with new friendships, great memories, success, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Happy Fathers Day to me. This journey is personal. I’ve been alcohol-free, in the gym, eating healthier, and attending church consistently. I’m also one semester away from earning my Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
