I was just driving past this block the other day and was thinking about the day We filmed this commercial
@djabbyab directed this commercial, who also directed "Streets is Watching" Movie
& "State Property"
This commercial was filmed in October of 1997 on West 22nd st. and 10th Ave. in Manhattan
right by My Grandmother's building, who had just died a few months before this was filmed.
So, Bitter sweet memories always driving by there and thinking of Her and Missing Her Still. But Also a Good Memory of this Day every time I see that wall on the corner where the posters are being put up in the video that is still there.

Praying for All the People of the Caribbean that have been affected by Hurricane Melissa. It is devastating to see the loss of Life and Destruction brought forth by this disaster to Such a Beautiful People and to all those Beautiful Nations. Jamica Always holds a Special place in My Heart. My time there was met with such Love and Warmth form such a Loving People and Such a Welcoming Culture. Oh Man I am So Sad to hear of the Passing of Angel Salazar!
As anyone who knows Me knows Scarface and Especially Carlitos's Way are 2 of My Favorite Movies. Angel Played roles in both of them. That alone would be enough for Me to be upset to know of His passing. However, beyond that, as these Movies began to become interwoven into My Career and Life, I had the honor of working with Angel in 2000 in Miami in a project related to His roles in those Movies. We had a Great time filming as well as a Story I will share one day of an ironic Full Circle Moment that involves Him and the Character He portrayed in those Movies. We remained cool after that memorable time and checked up on each other. Saw Him as recently as a few months ago. And He was vintage Angel. Going to Miss You Chi Chi! God Bless You Angel My God's Angel carry you into Eternal Peace. Thank You for coming to the World and Blessing it with Your Talent and Love! As anyone who knows Me knows how much the Movie "Carlitos's Way" means to Me and How much it has been intertwined with My Career and Life. When the idea was first presented to Me to read someone's Autobook/ Life Story all I could think of was Al Pacino's narration in "Carlitos's Way"and How impactful it was on Me when I first heard it back in 1995. It felt like He was talking to Me directly. So I wanted to pay homage to it not only in Voice but complete Character. Thanks to Big Fendi
Engineer @tr1pt973 and to make up Artist @honeybsinstagram I was able to execute exactly what I had in mind. I got completely immersed in the role of Carlito Bragante. For the last few months, I have been literally eating and sleeping watching the Movie. I grew My beard and got completely lost in the Character and tried to transform Myself into Role. I hope I did it justice.

Oh, man, I am so saddened to hear of the passing of the Legend, Mister Cee. From being Big Daddy Kane's DJ to Discovering The NOTORIOUS BIG His contributions to the genre are remarkable. Personally, he played such a Big role in My career. Around early 1999 He contacted Me to do some drops to feature on His new show He had on Sunday nights on Hot 97. I did one for His show and one for Him exclusively that He would play often on His other time slot during the week. After He kept playing the drop, the station called to have Me come up and do drops for each show on the station. While I was up there, Angie Martinez saw Me and recognized My voice from the Albums. She asked if I could stay for an interview. Of course I did, and the program director heard Me and asked Me to become an on-air personality. I had my own overnight show in the prime of radio on the #1 station in the #1 market. All that happened because Mister Cee asked Me to do those drops for him and played them all the time. It changed My Career, It changed My Life. I am forever Grateful to Him for that. I remember the last time I saw Him at one of His spots He was DJing at. I was outside as it was closing, He looked at Me with a disappointed face and said "Now You show up, I wanted You to get on the Mic" I'm sorry I didn't get to do that and don't have that lasting memory now. But I do have the memory of all the Great things You did for this culture and Game. You are Beyond Legendary, and Your Legacy will remain and be upheld by all that have a similar story of You as mine. How You put everyone in the right place to succeed and How Genuinely and Sincerely You did it. You were Turley Happy for people's success. May You Rest in Heavenly Peace.
