Lately, I’ve discovered a dangerous new hobby: hunting Strava KOMs on my home mountains. 🚴‍♂️ Every climb feels like a dogfight, every descent like Maverick vs. Iceman. “I feel the need… the need for speed!” before launching into yet another lung-burning attack. Top Gun has Goose, I have my #orbeawild. Training isn’t just about watts and weight anymore – it’s about preparing for the my mission: the Megavalanche. Maverick energy. If I don’t get the KOM, at least I’ll buzz the tower. ✈️🔥

Normally, I chase sunsets with my ORBEA Wild – but today I left the romance behind and threw myself into some rougher terrain instead. 🌲💥 No golden-hour vibes, just roots, rocks, and tight lines that punish every mistake. Exactly the kind of training I need on the road to the Mega Avalanche.

This ride was all about technique: holding balance, finding the right body position, sharpening reaction time, and ironing out those little uncertainties that can become big problems when you’re pushing full speed down the mountain. Today, I deliberately left speed behind in the forest – sometimes controlled precision is worth more than shaving off a few seconds. 🧠⚡️

For me, it’s not only about endurance and strength, but also about fine-tuning the connection between bike, body, and ground. Every training ride brings me one step closer to that start line in Alpe d’Huez. 🔥⛰️

The Mega Avalanche isn’t just a race you roll into – it’s something you earn by building the trust to handle your bike in every possible situation. That’s exactly what I’m working on.

There are moments in life that can’t be measured in numbers, times, or watts – one of them is sunset mountain biking. When the day slowly winds down and the sun paints the sky in a firework of orange, red, and violet, mountain biking reveals its most magical side.

With my Orbea Wild, I roll straight into the golden hour. The air is crisp, the light soft yet full of energy. Each pedal stroke is accompanied by the long shadow of my bike stretching across the trail. The noise of the day fades, replaced by the gentle whisper of the wind, while the ground crunches beneath my tires.

The trail ahead twists through forests, opens to sweeping views, then dives back into the dance of light and shadow. My Orbea Wild responds precisely, almost like an extension of my own body. Every little jump, every turn feels smooth – as if the bike already knows where I want to go.

Just before the sun disappears behind the mountains, I stop at a lookout point. Before me lies a panorama that steals my breath: distant peaks, deep blue valleys, and a sky ablaze. In this moment, there’s no heart rate, no segment record – only freedom, nature, and the feeling of being part of something greater.

As I descend the last section of trail in the twilight, I know exactly why I ride. Sunset mountain biking is not just sport – it’s pure life energy.

Skifahren ist für mich mehr als nur ein Sport – es ist ein Lebensgefühl. Diese Freude durfte ich gerade wieder ganz intensiv erleben, beim Testen der brandneuen @5ive_sports Bindung in der Skihalle Neuss. Ja, mitten im Sommer, mitten in NRW – und trotzdem echtes Ski-Feeling!

Schon beim ersten Schwung wusste ich: Diese Bindung ist anders. Super leicht, wahnsinnig direkt und unglaublich komfortabel. Die 5ive gibt dir das Gefühl, wirklich mit dem Ski verbunden zu sein – nicht irgendwie festgeschnallt, sondern integriert. Jeder Turn, jeder Kantenwechsel fühlt sich präzise, geschmeidig und spielerisch an.

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der neue Ein- und Ausstiegsmechanismus – kinderleicht, sogar mit Handschuhen. Kein Herumfummeln. Auch das Design macht richtig was her: clean, modern, hochwertig. In Kombination mit einem leichten Setup kommt die Bindung voll zur Geltung und lässt dich fast vergessen, dass du in einer Halle bist.

Mein Fazit: Die 5ive ist ein echter Gamechanger – technisch innovativ, top verarbeitet und ein spürbarer Gewinn für alle, die auf der Suche nach maximalem Fahrspaß sind. Ich freue mich schon auf die ersten Schwünge damit im echten Pulverschnee!

Kindesentfremdung ist eine grausame Form seelischer Gewalt – besonders, wenn sie von der Mutter ausgeht. Der entfremdete Vater erlebt einen schleichenden Verlust, der sich wie ein lebendiger Tod anfühlt. Stück für Stück wird das eigene Kind durch Manipulation, Lügen und Isolation entfremdet – oft unterstützt durch ein schweigendes oder mitwirkendes Umfeld.

Die Hilflosigkeit, nichts dagegen tun zu können, zerreißt von innen. Es gibt keinen Trost, keinen Raum für Trauer – nur Leere, Schmerz und das verzweifelte Warten auf einen Moment der Wahrheit.

Diese Realität betrifft tausende Väter – ich bin einer davon.

Heute war ein besonderer Tag – stilvoll, bedeutungsvoll und gemeinschaftlich. Der Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brachte uns erneut zusammen, um ein Zeichen zu setzen – unterwegs im Zeichen der Aufklärung über Männergesundheit, gemeinsam mit vielen engagierten Gentlemen und Ladies auf zwei Rädern.

Ich danke jedem Einzelnen, der heute mit mir unterwegs war. Es war nicht nur eine Ausfahrt, sondern ein Statement: für mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf Themen wie Prostatakrebs und mentale Gesundheit bei Männern. Jeder Teilnehmer hat heute mit seiner Präsenz, seiner Kleidung, seinem Fahrzeug und seinem Herzen dazu beigetragen, diese wichtige Botschaft weiterzutragen.

Es geht heute nicht nur ums Fahren, sondern ums hinsehen, zuhören, ansprechen. Der Gentleman’s Ride ist mehr als ein Event – es ist ein Aufruf zur Verantwortung. Lasst uns weiterhin gemeinsam dafür einstehen, dass Männer sich trauen, über ihre Gesundheit zu sprechen und sich helfen zu lassen.

Ich bin stolz, Teil dieser Bewegung zu sein. Und ich freue mich schon jetzt auf das nächste Mal – mit euch.

Golden hour rides are something else — just me, the trails, and that feeling of pure freedom.
Today I headed up to Seekarkreuz, one of my favorite summits here in the region. Nestled deep in my home mountains, it’s a spot that always feels a little more special, a little more mine. No crowds, no noise — just endless views and winding trails.

The climb was almost effortless on my @orbea Wild E-Mountainbike, carving up steep sections while the forest slowly turned golden around me. Packed light with my @evocsports EVOC backpack, I had everything I needed for the ride: water, a jacket, and a clear mind. My @oakley clear glasses kept the low evening sun at bay, sharpening every shadow and color as the sky flared into reds and oranges.

There’s a certain kind of silence up at Seekarkreuz that you don’t find anywhere else — just the whisper of the breeze and the sound of my tires crunching over gravel. Watching the sun sink behind the peaks with no one else around felt like time standing still.

Rolling down into the valley, chasing the last light, I couldn’t help but feel grateful — for rides like this, for trails that feel like they were built just for me, and for gear that you can just trust without thinking.
The ORBA Wild ate up the descent, playful and powerful, while my Oakleys stayed crystal clear even as shadows stretched across the trail. And my EVOC pack? Barely noticed it was there, exactly how it should be.

Seekarkreuz will always be one of my favorite places — not just for the view, but for the feeling you carry back down with you.
Some rides are good. Some are unforgettable.

Ahhh, der 14. Februar – der Tag, an dem Pärchen ihre Liebe feiern und Singles… nun ja, wir feiern uns selbst (und das ist mindestens genauso wichtig). Während sich manche mit Blumen und Pralinen überschütten, gönne ich mir die einzig wahre Liebe: Pizza, Serien und keinen Stress. 💅

Warum sich Gedanken um romantische Gesten machen, wenn man stattdessen die ganze Decke für sich allein hat und sich nicht streiten muss, wo man essen geht? Ich habe die perfekte Beziehung – mit meinem Kühlschrank. Und ganz ehrlich, der enttäuscht mich nie. 😌

An alle anderen Singles da draußen: Denkt dran, Selbstliebe ist die beste Liebe. Also gönnt euch, lacht über kitschige Liebesfilme und vergesst nicht – Schokolade ist morgen im Angebot. 💖🍫

Fresh snow, twisting mountain roads, and the thrill of a little hobby rally driving—it doesn’t get much better than this! The Sylvenstein area near Lenggries was a true winter wonderland today, with powdery snowflakes settling on every curve and straightaway. Of course, I was only enjoying the scenery and the way my car handles on such picturesque roads. After all, adhering to the StVO (German road regulations) is a must! 😉

Let’s be honest though, it’s the overlay that adds the illusion of speed—it’s all about having fun, staying safe, and appreciating the moment. Winter driving isn’t just about getting from A to B; it’s about the connection between driver, car, and the road. These snow-covered routes remind me why I love this hobby so much—it’s equal parts art and science.

Sylvensteinsee in the winter feels like something out of a fairytale. The calm of the icy lake, the surrounding white-dusted peaks, and the occasional soft crunch of tires on snow—it’s the perfect backdrop for a peaceful yet exhilarating experience. Driving responsibly doesn’t take away from the excitement; in fact, it’s part of the fun to test skills within safe and legal limits.

If you’ve never been to Sylvenstein in the winter, I highly recommend a visit. Just remember: respect the rules, drive safely, and savor the magic of winter roads!
