Happy 9th birthday to my sweet Pepper! 🥳🐈‍⬛🐾 They say cats have nine lives, and now my PepPep is 9! It seems like yesterday when I heard a tiny kitten crying in Brookhaven (Atlanta) as I walked home from Kroger. She appeared to be lost or abandoned. I stayed nearby and checked the area, but no mama cat or other kittens ever appeared. So, I scooped that four-week-old, blue-eyed baby into a shopping bag on top of my canned goods and carried her home, where seven new siblings were waiting! 😻

Pepper, you have brought me SO much love and joy. I’m praying we’re blessed with at least nine more years to make beautiful memories together. Happy birthday Pepper aka PepPep! 🥰🐈‍⬛🐾
