Making music overseas with one of my longest and closest friends. ❤️

When @itslostboy and I were teenagers, we’d smoke weed and make beats in his living room. I was always sitting there thinking, “Damn… you must have to be born with this kind of talent. I could never do something like that.”

Fast forward a few years 😂 and I walked into the studio with a beat and lyrics and said, “I have something this time.” He was blown away with how far I’ve come with my music production.

One thing that’s become really important to me as an artist is having something to bring to a collaboration. I never wanted to be the person just watching anymore—I wanted to learn, create, and contribute. It’s been really rewarding proving to myself that these are skills you can build if you’re willing to put in the work.

This song is so special to me, and I seriously can’t wait for you guys to hear it. ❤️

Getting ready to take off for six weeks to focus on making music, finding inspiration through travel, and giving my mind and body a break from the constant grind. I can’t believe it’s finally here.

I’ve worked so hard for this, but somehow I still spend so much time thinking about how far I have left to go. Being ambitious is a beautiful thing, but sometimes it makes you forget you’re already living a dream you once prayed for.

I catch myself feeling guilty for slowing down. Guilty for focusing on one thing instead of trying to do everything. Like I have to earn the right to enjoy the life I’ve worked so hard to create.

I started working when I was 15, and for so long life has felt like survival mode. It feels like I’m finally giving little me something she’s wanted for a very long time. The chance to create, explore, and just exist without constantly wondering if I’m doing enough.

At first, when I planned this, I thought it would help me find myself a bit more. But now I think I actually want to lose myself a little. Let go of the pressure, the expectations, and just see what happens when I stop trying so hard to control everything.

I’m sure there will be moments where I overthink everything. What if I don’t write the song I hoped for? What if I get stuck? But maybe this trip isn’t about proving anything. Maybe it’s about trusting that creativity comes when you actually let yourself live.

So for the next six weeks, my goal isn’t just to make music. It’s to remember to enjoy the life I’ve spent years building.
