Shaq swung by the office. He wasn’t happy with our selection of snacks so I had to run (literally) and grab him some Shnaqs (trademark pending.) by @therealslimpoppa

This one's for everyone who's been going through it. My family had a challenging 2025, and when I look around, I see a lot of people right now just holding on. I made "This Year" to process a hard stretch and maybe pass a little hope along. ❤️ — Slim Poppa by @therealslimpoppa

There are masked men in our neighborhoods snatching citizens off the streets and killing people who get in their way. It's been hard to process that this is part of America now. I've tried to work through it by making a new song, calling out "The Bad Guys" invading our state and honoring the brave Minnesotans standing up to them. by @therealslimpoppa

I turned another year older and in honor of my life likely being half-finished, here is a half-finished music video for the Slim Poppa song "Don't Start Dyin'." by @therealslimpoppa

I made a song for all the fathers out there. Are you the "Best Dad in the World"? Maybe not. But, you might be closer than you think.

My weird, fun hip hop experiment has reached a milestone. “Better Than Nothing”, the full album from my digital alter ego Slim Poppa, is now available on most music streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music.
Critics may be calling Slim Poppa “the Jar Jar Binks of rap” but that hasn’t stopped him from living his truth.
Links in the comment section below. Thank you to everyone who has listened and supported. It feels good to make stuff, no matter how ridiculous it is. I’ll take it. by @therealslimpoppa

Here's more weird, dumb, fun for ya from Slim Poppa. An anthem for midlife and everything that comes with it.

A couple weeks ago, I was struck by inspiration and the tools to turn my ideas into reality. In short time, I wrote an album's worth of hip hop songs and married my lyrics up with beats, thanks to a bit of modern tech magic. The result is my digital rap alter ego Slim Poppa, and my/his/our first music video, "Close Enough."
I'm aware there will likely be criticism of some of the choices I made in bringing this to life. I'm ready for it. Instead of aging gracefully, I'm choosing to age defiantly, doing things that are a little bit stupid, risky or sophomoric. It makes me feel alive, and it feels good. I hope at least some of you are amused by it. #hiphop #dadcore #musicvideo #rap #closeenough #betterthannothing by @therealslimpoppa
