First things first: I’m not going anywhere and the bookings are STILL full.. I stepped away to step UP!

This is about knowing where my value lies and being obedient to ALL of my gifts. I’m not draining myself chasing something that was never meant to be part of the program.

Nightlife can be dark behind the big smiles, familiar faces, high energy and celebrations. I’ve experienced assault, anxiety, chaos, walking into rooms alone, and being surrounded by energy that wasn’t always mine to carry.

I used to think meeting people where they were was my superpower. I’ve realized sometimes, that superpower is actually my kryptonite.

Just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean you’re supposed to stay in that lane.

I’ve been so hyper-focused on being the host that I’ve stifled the growth of everything else I carry. I wear MANY hats behind the scenes, and it’s time I start wearing them proudly.

I’m not leaving. I’m expanding.

Because baby, as a full-time entrepreneur… I’m not doing enough. 😂 taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @therealsweets__

The R&B Rewind: Millennial Edition recap 💜

This one was a VIBE! Me, Coco Filipina and my Hot 97.9 family outside doing what we do! 🔥 Bernie O was in the mix too, and even though she didn’t make this video, she definitely gets her flowers. 💐

The music, the crowd, the energy, the laughs and all the moments in between… this was one of those nights you just had to be there for!

I’m glad I got to experience this one with my people. 💜🎶

R&B Rewind was EVERYTHING 😭💜 I had such a good time! I did this one for my millennial girlies and baby, y’all came OUT! The whole room was packed with good energy, familiar faces, amazing artists and just a vibe from start to finish.

From the VIP to the actual show to all the behind-the-scenes moments, I’m STILL on a high from this one. 😂🥂 So many good moments were caught and there’s way more coming in the full vlog!
