POSTS STORIES REELS

I’ve spent so much of last year and this year buried in work, chasing deadlines, responsibilities and everything in between, that somewhere along the way I realised I owed myself some time, and some sweat in the mountains. It’s something I’d often do as a day trip, but some places can’t be experienced in a single day.

So I came here to walk, to breathe, to get uncomfortable and to remember what it feels like to simply be present.

Yesterday brought rain, wind and thunder. Today, I woke up to thick snow covering the mountains, the same place, completely transformed. ❄️🌧️

And maybe that’s what I love most about nature: it never promises to look the same twice. It changes without warning, and somehow every version leaves you with a memory.

Cold, soaked, exhausted, humbled and completely in awe. But more than anything, grateful. These are the moments I know I’ll look back on with nostalgia. The kind of memories that remind you life is meant to be lived beyond the walls of work.

There’s something about being surrounded by mountains that makes you slow down and simply take it all in. 🏔️

There’s something beautiful about how unpredictable the mountains can be. One moment, it’s rain, wind and grey skies; the next, you wake up to a world covered in thick snow. ❄️🏔️

The weather changes, the mountains transform, and somehow every version feels more beautiful than the last. These are the moments that stay with you, the cold, the quiet, the unexpected beauty, and the nostalgia of simply being there. ❤️

Some places you visit, but some places become memories you carry with you.

If my eyes could catch the peaks, my legs wouldn’t stop until they touched them.

That’s been me since childhood.

Life gets busy. Work demands more. I still find time to train in the gym because strength matters, but nothing quiets my mind quite like the mountains. Out here, every climb reminds me to breathe, to slow down, and to trust that one step at a time is enough.

Today’s hike wasn’t about escaping life. It was about returning to myself.

Grateful for strong legs, open trails, fresh air, and another reminder that some of the best therapy God gave us is His creation.

Until the next summit. 🥾⛰️

Lately, I feel caught between two ages. Young, as I return to the things my childhood self once loved, and old, as I realize I’ve quietly outgrown much of what I used to call fun.
