New Creature
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
* Within the past year, I have experienced God in such a way that has transformed me, through my pain, the crushing, and hence the refining. But as you see me, those feelings have become a distant memory.
* Therefore, I pray that same grace and mercy for you, that the pain of your past becomes a distant memory because how far God elevates you.

Perception:
* I invite you to celebrate God on how far He goes just to give you the opportunity to bring to fruition what He formed you to become

Journal:
* To release your thoughts, yes, but to also make sure there is something tangible you can reflect on so that you never forget how He got you through your wilderness season time and time and time again. Let the memories of the tears you cried in the past serve as proof that those tears no longer exist today.

You are a Light
Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

The Holy Spirit placed a question in my heart as I was praying and the question was “What happens when you lose that which you never thought or expected to lose?” And as a let that sink…

He then reminded me immediately of the story of Job and how he lost that which he never expected or prepared to lose….And I heard “There in lies the true test” ….in these times that is the true test of love, relationship, faith, commitment etc…So what happens?

When we make investments very rarely is it our instinct to prepare to lose it all. Because then what’s the point of investing in the first place right? Too risky..?

He then showed me branches rooted in a river…And He explained how we are beginning to forfeit and confuse the branches for the roots. The blessings, testimonies, and gifts {branches} tied to Him have led us to try to place a measure to the source {root}..So what would it mean to you, if in this season you don’t have those things and it’s still…does that mean He has forgotten you? You are no longer blessed? Gifted? Favor?

No! As Romans 8:38-39 shares, “…that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” You are loved, blessed, remembered despite of. And it is my prayer that He realigns our focus and value to Him solely, eliminating the conditions our minds have used to try to measure our worth/or place in Him.

As we approach year two I can’t help but think about where I once was and how far God has truly brought me. Been at the drawing board so many times but could never get it right. Tried it my way 100 times and that has failed me 100 times. But God.

Looking back I can’t believe it has only been two years. I have truly seen the manifestation and the transformation that only came from letting my Father in. I can remember Outpour’s college tour to Montclair State University like it was yesterday. The sound that ignited a shift in my spirit could only have come from Him, and nothing was ever the same.

Truly grateful for my Outpour fam and every single heart that has impacted us through this journey. This picture right here is my hearts cry and what a release it is. To the moments we sat in the cabins praying and thanking God in advance for the things we can testify for today.... But God.

My heart and lips cannot thank you enough, but my every breath on this Earth will try. Glory be to God #DayOfThanksgiving #RoadToYear2Weekend by @therealtoee
