I’m late to post because life has been busy in the best ways possible. The past few months have taken more than I was ready to give, still I wasn’t left empty handed. Instead, my hands are filled with tiny fingers & snacks that need opened. My ears are filled with the most perfect giggles and “mama/daddy, come play!” My eyes are filled with the image of a tiny version of myself who is so smart, innocent, and kind. My heart is filled with so much love for a sweet little girl and her strong, handsome, compassionate daddy. by @therealwilljohnston

A year ago today, my dad took us up town and waited outside as we secretly signed our lives away to each other. It was just you and me in a room, making the promise of forever together.

We got to spend nearly a year celebrating our love together privately. No commotion. No outsider expectations. Just love.

10/4 will be the day we celebrate sharing our love with our friends and family, but 11/12 will be the day we get to celebrate putting each other first, giving ourselves to each other, and beginning our forever as husband and wife.
