A birthday dump: pure joy, reciprocity and gratitude 🎈

I’ve been so busy running from one thing to the next all year that all I wanted for my birthday this year was rest. I couldn’t even find the time to plan anything for myself and I was beyond ok with that but the Lord makes the plans🥺 He sent me destiny helpers in the form of sisters-in-Christ to plan it all. They planned for weeks, got on flights, and put together the surprise I didn’t even know I needed. Everything has been so intentional: from the flowers to booking a hotel staycation with all of my fav snacks to dinner to a pool day - the rest I deeply wanted and none of it I had to plan for myself. Maybe to someone else this wouldn’t be a big deal, but to the one who has always been the carer, the pourer, the leader, the sharer, the prayer warrior, and the provider etc. to many it is a deeply touching feeling to be a poured into and loved so well without asking for it. I have cried often in the last 48 hours (like a big baby lol) knowing that it is the Lord expressing through them how He feels about me. How He cares for me, sees me, nurtures me, and has a plan for my goodness always. I already know this will be a year of the best surprises and I’m so excited🫶🏽🤎 by @therealwithrosa

Year 33: Fully aligned. Fully obedient. Fully His.

I can’t explain the peace I have walking into this birthday — not because life is perfect, but because I trust the One who is.

These past 7 years stepping out on faith have been filled with deep processing and pruning. The grace I’m walking in now came through surrendering to that process. So when God gave me “The Process is the Promise”, I knew I had to live it, not just write it. What I didn’t expect was how many of your lives it would touch🥹

Never in my wildest imagination did I foresee being a Christian author, speaker or teacher, but I do it purely out of obedience to God. So after over a hundred copies sold in the first month, I joined @iamporshalove for my first intimate in-person teaching on the book — and the healing, vulnerability, and accountability in this room blew me away. I couldn’t have prayed for it but God knew.

So today, I feel nothing but joy and gratitude — for a God who has kept me, loved me, and graced me for this season of my life. I’m really so happy to just be in His perfect will.

This 33rd year means no more hiding. It’s time to step out fully. I’m so excited to finally start hosting more in-person events to talk all things Bible and revelations from this book.

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY I preached my first sermon entitled “The Process is the Promise” and now only ONE MONTH AGO it’s also my first published Christian book with 108 copies sold😭 I knew when the time was right I wanted to give you all the full testimony on how I got here and today feels like the best day to do that (swipe to read it!). I pray it blesses you and I just want to encourage you to know He has not abandoned you! Trust Him and submit your plans to Him and He will indeed blow your mind😭
