modus operandi: irrational extremes in running and fitness, the math is simple: more input = more output. you get what you put in, and those linear returns got me hooked. even so, i never intended on dedicating so much time and energy but one thing led to another and i reached various personal milestones by committing to irrational extremes: month after month of running 70+ miles per week, year after year eating the same meals every single day (rip many many chickens), saying no to friends far too many times, getting things done regardless of time, circumstance, weather, lack of sleep, etc etc etc. the excuses are there if you look, but i never relented on the standards i set for myself. this all imparted an unshakeable self belief that emerged from proving to myself, day after day, that i could do what i said i would do, that when i decide something matters enough, i will see it through. my point in all this is that i hope to be proof that anyone can become the aspirational version of themselves with the requisite commitment to irrational extremes. believing that is the first step. now i’m going to prove this to myself again, and this time finally redirect this energy to other pursuits. by @therealwoon

(한국 음원에는 곧...!) ⠀ Beyond grateful to my homie @spt_pak for believing in me and co-producing, @jamesfouren for being so patient in working with me to achieve the mix we were looking for, and to @chrisgehringer and @sterlingsound for the industry standard sound they’re known for. ⠀ Over the past year I’ve done what I can to give myself any sort of chance at this while working a full time job: waking up early to make beats before work, doing vocal exercises on my drives to and from work, coming home and studying music production tutorials, reaching out to and learning from some of my favorite producers and musicians, making more beats, rinse/repeat, etc. Time will tell whether my music will find an audience, and I’m far from satisfied with where I’m at, but with the conviction that consistent hard work and dedication pay off, I can promise that I’ll keep at this and only get better. Let’s do this 🤠 ⠀ 작년에 크러쉬 x 헵신유님들의 ‘나빠’를 듣고 너무 좋아서 재미삼아 처음으로 노래 불러봤는데 그다지 반응이 나쁘지 않아서 계속 노래 커버를 해봤어요. 그러다가 어느새 일년이 지나고 오늘 제 첫 싱글이 발매 됐네요. 그 지난 일년 동안 출근하기 전에 일찍 일어나서 비트 스케치 하고, 출퇴근 길에 보컬 연습하고, 돌아와서 유툽 보면서 배우고 또 계속 비트 스케치하고, 나름대로 열심히 했는데도 늘 부족하다는 느낌이 많네요. 하지만 꾸준히 열심히 하면 안될게 없다 믿으면서 앞으로 계속 열심히하고 매번 발전 된 모습으로 돌아오겠습니다. 음악을 계속 내면은 언젠가 좋은 음악이 나오겠죠? ㅋㅋㅋ ⠀ 응원 해주신은 가족, 친구, 팬(?) 분들깨 너무 감사합니다. 팬이라고 부르긴 그런데 특히 지금 팬분들이 없어서 이미 응원 해주신은 분들이 더욱 더 소중하게 느껴지네요. ⠀ 그리고, 같이 작업 해준 준우, 첫 만남 부터 믿어 주고 나한테 희망을 줘서 말로 표현이 부족할 정도로 너무 고맙다. 신중하게 믹싱 해준 제임스 정말 고맙고. 그동안 가르켜준 선생+동료들도 고맙습니다. 그냥 많이 고맙네요. 제 첫 싱글 많이 들어주세요! 🤍 by @therealwoon
