Where it all began ♥️

My career in microneedling began over 12 years ago, and the story behind it is personal.

At the time, I was working in a private medical clinic when my mum received her first skin cancer diagnosis. The cancer was on her nose, and a significant amount of skin had to be removed. The reconstructive surgery that followed left her with significant scarring and disfigurement, changing the way she felt about her appearance.

When we introduced a medical needling device into the clinic, I saw an opportunity—an opportunity to help my mum.

Back then, microneedling wasn’t the widely recognised treatment it is today, and the sophisticated devices and technology we now have simply didn’t exist.

With my mum’s trust, we began treating her surgical scarring, and we quickly discovered just how powerful microneedling could be in remodelling scar tissue and improving its appearance.

That experience changed everything.

What began as a daughter wanting to help her mother became a fascination with what could be achieved through microneedling. I immersed myself in treating surgical and complex scars, while continuing to explore its potential across a much wider range of skin concerns.
